I did a lot of research and subscribed to Consumer Reports to find a good brand and machine. I was frustrated with my last Kenmore and I wanted a machine that didn't break down every year. I have a family of 4, including 2 teen boys that play sports. I also have cats and a dog so I wanted a large washer so I could do bedding on a regular basis. The size of the machine is perfect! I can do a king comforter easily. It also has a sanitizing cycle which I LOVE. A co-worker said to use the steam cycle on pillows. I now have clean fresh pillows. The clothes come out clean and smell good. The tub is deep. I am 5'5" and I have to stand on a step stool to reach in to get the socks on the bottom. I have only had the machine for a month but I have no complaints. After I picked the machine I wanted I researched retailers to purchase from. I choose Best Buy because I had some reward points and I liked their customer service and warranty program.

Either I hated my other one that bad or this one is amazing. I have had it 2 years and no problems. It's huge and I had to put a step stool in front of it so I could get the clothes out of the bottom. I can wash a king sized comforter with no problems. It does a good job getting the clothes clean. With teenage kids who play sports I do several loads a day of uniforms, towels and other clothes and I have not had problems. I also bought the Best Buy warranty which was very reasonably priced compared to Sears and I have not had to use the warranty at all.

great washer, uses less water, I use less laundry soap and able to wash bigger loads, with family of 6 this washer gets the job done. It was worth every penny.

The machines are good - I miss some of the features of my old machine such as being able to manually control the cycles mid way through, Being able to add clothes while the cycle is going - having more control over repeating the spin etc. They are extremely large and what I didn't take into account was the height - because they are so tall the washer top load door doesn't fit under my cabinets and now they stick way out in the laundry room. These were just things I didn't realize until I had them installed.

Was really torn between the front-load and top-load alternatives and read every review I could find. Despite all the preferences toward front-loaders, I opted for this top-loader with all the features AND importantly for me, the size fit perfectly for my tight space. I couldn't be happier! The convenience of loading from the top versus bending low (no way I'd pay the $150+ to get a pedestal that I don't need) and the front panel for all the operations is so easy to use and sleek looking . Cleans laundry great and is still water efficient. Turbo cycle makes quick work and all the features are helpful for customizing to my specific laundry care needs. Only issue was the Child Lock engaged and even though it presents you a code, they don't include the code in the Error Code section of the manual so I had to call for support. Even so, they quickly resolved and were very friendly.

Cleans well, Quiet and I can reach the bottom of the tub. I am 5'3"

Not a fan of front loaders due to back problems. Fits three baskets of my clothes or a king size bed spread with no effort.

It can handle large & bulky loads (quilts, blankets, etc.). Have to be careful not to accidentally change program when leaning over sensitive front digital controls when adding clothes after starting the machine. Also, be prepared to use tongs to reach clothes (especially socks or small items) in bottom of large, deep tub! I like the see-through lid! Overall, a good purchase!

This has all the features you could need. Very large tub for doing comforters etc with ease. Love the tub clean feature and nice chime when done.

The top loading washing machine is back! It has been very elegant to use.

This washer is much better than the front loader we used to have. It met all our expectations and more.

Although it is much more complicated to operate initially than our old machine, it now seems straight forward to operate. It does a good job of cleaning all kinds of clothes.

This washer washes good! I had 5.2 washer and downsized to this 4.9 washer. And the 4.9 washes better!

This washing machine is a warranty replacement for the previous machine which was not repairable. Best Buy delivered and set it up in the house. So far, everything is working great.

This is a cool washer, it has steam and different features to wash your clothes. It's not the quietest washer you'll find but it gets the job done.

Works as advertised, so far no problems. A bit of a stretch to the bottom of the tub for short people.
