just needed a simple TV and an Antennae at low cost.

Bought this on "Deal of the Day" for $200, a very competitive price for a name brand 40" 1080p LED set. Easy, straightforward setup. Nice stable stand (not the little "feet"). Excellent picture quality and sound right out of the box on standard settings. My only slight complaint (and it is minor) is that the viewing angle is not as good as my older plasma set, but this is "normal" for LCD/LED sets. Overall, excellent TV set for the price!

If not viewing directly straight in front, picture/color washes out/blurs. Maybe I got defective unit.

Purchased this TV from a Best Buy store. Came home and realized that there was a huge crack on the screen.

Not happy with it. Dull foggy picture. Hard to adjust picture dementions

I absolutely love this tv. In all honesty I wasn't expecting much. The picture is excellent, the sound is really good, and the setup was real ok you simple. It is extremely lightweight and has plenty of connections. I'm extremely happy with this tv.

I've long been a fan of LG's TVs so when I needed a new TV that's where I looked first. The picture on this is great, but the audio is average. That's to be expected for this price point, but the only reason I docked a star is because there is absolutely 0 audio outputs...no headphone, rca, or optical. In order to upgrade the sound I'd need to either buy something with a HDMI pass through (lots of $$) or an audio de-embedder (another "thing" to put with the TV.) I would have gladly paid extra to have an optical out/headphone jack built in.

I truly do enjoy the quality and the value of the LG products, I have always bought their products and never have had a complaint. I have a LG TV that was in a house fire some years back and it still works like the first day I bought it, very happy with the purchase.

Installed this TV for a customer and we couldn't be happier. Good picture quality, dependable and easy to use. Not cutting edge performance but for this price, it's highly recommended!

I purchased this tv about 3 months ago and it has been great! I've always bought LG tvs and I've NEVER had a problem with them. I always tweak the color, contrast, sound for my preferences. Right now, the tv is in my living room and I don't have to turn it up past 12 to hear it. Not sure if some of the reviews are talking about the same tv but I am very pleased with my $250 tv. The 55" is next.

I got this as a Geek Squad certified open box and the only problems I have so far is that the front bottom frame is bent a little in the corner and the stand was missing a screw but it still works fine. This TV is great so far, I love how bright and vibrant the colors are. I noticed there's a spot in the middle, it's not that noticeable but if it becomes a problem I also purchased the geek squad protection. The sound quality is kind of bad so I'm thinking about getting a sound bar to go with it. Overall, though, I'm very happy with my new TV.

This TV was in the Deal Of The Day and was only $200 for this Model so I went and bought it and the picture and sound is outstanding so it was worth it.

Very happy w the tv. Good picture and sound, easy assembly and set up. Love all the HDMI ports and the fact that the remote is so small. Had it for about a month and no complaints.

Got this TV on Deal of the Day for $199 for my bedroom. Easy set up, great picture and sound! Best 1080p for the price.

I really liked the TV and it works great. Tested with 1080p videos and provides good quality output. The only thing is sound is ok not very good but what do you expect for this price. But i bought smart tv for spending 20$ more

Bought two of these, one for the converted second bedroom, one for my mom's den. My mom's set came with a cracked screen. Best Buy was swift and courteous - a new set was delivered and a pick up of the damaged one was accomplished two days later. Our set: video on Standard, audio on Standard. The video is nice (4/5), the audio is weak (2/5). We set the volume at 90 (1-100). Will decide if the audio is a deal breaker in the next few days.
