Brilliant TV, made even better that I managed to snag an open box. The LG OS is clean and quick and the deep blacks make movies a dream.

I bought the 42" LGC2 OLED to primarily serve as a computer monitor and could not be happier—excellent build quality and picture. However, I would not go larger than 42" for a traditional desk setup (I wall-mounted mine). In my opinion, a 48" or larger LGC2 would be too big for viewing at such short distances (about 33 inches). The TV sound is good, but I upgraded to SONOS for TV/gaming sessions.

I am using the C242 as a monitor in my home office setup. It replaced an 55” CX which has been moved to the living room. I havent done a full calibration yet but took some readings and it is very color accurate OOB. The size is perfect for desktop use and appears sharper than the CX did. This i would attribute to a higher pixel density and OLED infinite contrast.. i also have it connected to a PS5 and Steamdeck. My work machine that i have coonected is a 2019 16” MBP, which will soon be replaced by an 16” M1 MBP. Although limited to a 60Hz refresh rate everything on screen looks great.

Bought it to get best visual experience possible for pc gaming. Games look amazing, discernible difference from my previous 1440p monitor. Size is just right, very immersive without being overwhelming. Assembly and setup easy. Kudos to Best Buy for straightening out a problem i had with a gift card and honoring the sale price i missed because of it. Ordered at 5pm on monday & arrived by 11am next day - amazing!

I use this as a monitor and I love it. very easy to set up on Pc and the picture and sound quality is amazing m.

Great colors and fantastic HDR for gaming, with awesome motion clarity from OLED's ultra fast pixel response time. Though, with a 4090 I'm getting 200+ FPS in the games I play, so I would prefer a higher refresh rate, but I expect 4k240 OLEDs to be a ways off if ever (next nice multiple of 24 and 30)

Excellent picture and easy to navigate. Bought this as an open box and no issues so far.

This TV has a great picture and decent sound. It comes with a large number of apps loaded. My only complaints are that I was not able to find an app for PBS and that it requires a very steady hand to point the remote.

First 4k oled experience and now its hard to go back. Works perfectly with my xbox and playstation. Has really made my rewatch of the MCU that much better. Only thing to look out for is bright room reflections. I keep my room dark when I use it but I could see if you have a pretty well lit area the reflections be a minor annoyance.

42" is perfect for gaming. I love all the gaming options and the fact it is oled. I feel this was a smart purchase.

I got this to use as a computer gaming monitor due to to $1000 price tag on a worse performing IPS 32 gaming monitor. Wow. This is what I have been looking for all these years. No IPS glow or backlight bleed eliminates most of the panel lottery and the colors are glorious. Motion is smooth as butter at 120 FPS and input lag is non existent. There are a few settings to tweak for optimal PC performance but these are documented all over the internet.

Great TV, has everything that you need for all the shows you want to watch. The color and graphics are superior to must tv’s out there. I want to by an identical one. Do happy with Best Buy and their customer service.

Great OLED tv LG 42 inch c2 great for gaming and tv watching

I bought this 42” C2 OLED for playing games on PS5 and PC. I have a 48” C2 too, but it was too big to be used as a PC monitor. Therefore, when I saw this 42” on sale, I jumped on it immediately. If you’re on the fence between 42” or 48”, then go with 42” if you planned to use it as a TV/monitor combo. You won’t regret it.
