Missing major parts on "geek squad certified"

Geek squad is an absolute joke. I purchased a "certified excellent" tv expecting a like new tv that was returned and check over and appears new and working. I'm not sure who best buy has on geek squad these days but its missing the two feet (tv stand). NOT JUST ONE BUT BOTH FEET. How do you box this up "yup that looks brand new, ship it out" with no stand. Also it looks thrown in the box with no screen wrap or protection at all. Remote and extras thrown in the bag with loose screws and finger oils all over the remote. What kind of joke "certification" and "cleaning" process is best buy running.

The LG C2 42 is a 4K OLED TV that offers excellent picture quality, gaming performance, and smart features in a compact size. It is the first OLED TV to come in a 42-inch screen size, making it ideal for those who want a high-end TV that fits in smaller spaces or can be used as a PC monitor. The main strength of the LG C2 42 is its OLED panel, which delivers perfect blacks, infinite contrast, and wide viewing angles. The OLED panel also has a near-instant response time, which means fast-moving scenes look clear and smooth, with no motion blur or ghosting. The LG C2 42 supports HDMI 2.1, which allows it to display 4K content at up to 120 Hz from compatible devices, such as the PS5 or Xbox Series X. It also supports variable refresh rate (VRR) technologies, such as FreeSync and G-SYNC, which reduce screen tearing and stuttering in games. The LG C2 42 has a bright and colorful picture, thanks to its OLED evo technology, which improves the peak brightness and color gamut of the OLED panel. It supports HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG formats, and can display a wide range of colors and highlights. The LG C2 42 also has an AI Picture Pro mode, which uses artificial intelligence to enhance the image quality based on the content type and scene. The LG C2 42 runs on the webOS 6.0 platform, which is easy to use and offers access to a variety of streaming apps, such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, YouTube, and more. The LG C2 42 comes with a Magic Remote, which has a built-in microphone for voice control via Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. The remote also has a pointer function, which lets you navigate the TV's menus by moving the remote like a mouse. The LG C2 42 has a sleek and minimalist design, with thin bezels and a slim profile. It has wide-set feet that provide stability and allow it to fit on most tables or desks. It also has a headphone jack on the back, which is convenient for using headphones or speakers when using it as a PC monitor. The LG C2 42 is not without its drawbacks, however. One of the main issues with OLED TVs is the risk of permanent burn-in, which can occur when static images are displayed for prolonged periods of time. This can be an issue for gamers or PC users who frequently display HUD elements or icons on the screen. The LG C2 42 has some features to prevent or reduce burn-in, such as pixel refresher, logo luminance adjustment, and screen shift, but they are not guaranteed to work in all cases. Another issue with the LG C2 42 is that it does not have a DisplayPort input, which means that PC users who want to use VRR or high refresh rates will need an HDMI 2.1 port on their graphics card or an adapter. The LG C2 42 also has a high input lag outside of Game Mode or PC Mode, which can affect the responsiveness of games or other applications. Overall, the LG C2 42 is an impressive TV that offers a lot of features and performance in a small package. It is especially suited for gamers or PC users who want an OLED TV that can double as a monitor. However, it also has some limitations and risks that should be considered before buying.

I purchased three of these for a sim racing rig. Having three of these next to each other is an unbelievable experience. They are fast enough to work with gaming, I don't watch any shows or films on these; they are dedicated to both flight and racing simulators, Blacks are black, not gray; the colors are bright, and the pictures are sharp.

Was looking into getting a 4K monitor for my PC. Coming from a 32” 2560x1440p 165hz Dell, I wanted to really bump up the resolution for gaming/media consumption. Well after much research, I decided to go OLED. 32” OLEDS were pretty much the same price, and not as big. I pulled the trigger on the C2. Went 42” and didn’t take long to get used to the extra screen real estate. I am super impressed with the picture, and refresh rate. HDR content on this thing blew my mind! I was always just watching YouTube videos of the displays, and Bestbuy only had them with low resolution content playing. When I put this puppy together at home, and launched 4K movies and games, I finally realized what all the good reviews were really about. Excellent tv, and perfect size for the resolution!

Writing this review after 1.5 years of usage with over 1600 hours of use: I primarily used this for PC gaming as my main monitor. Simply put - breathtaking! Paired with a RTX 4080, this display was easily pushing out ~110 fps for most current (and well optimized) games with ultra settings. The colors are vivid and the responsiveness of the built-in OS is excellent. Movies will play smoothly and the dark colors are easily discernible. The speakers are so-so. This product is best used alongside a stereo system or headphones. Some users mentioned glare - I used this product on the opposite side of the room from a window, so the reflection is noticeable when the TV is powered off or when watching darker content. Most of the time with bright games I was unable to tell. Nothing curtains couldn't fix!

Amazing Picture Quality, but FireTV Stick Issues

Stunning contrast and colors! Sound quality very good, maybe a little 'tinny' at higher frequencies. About the only complaint is that it doesn't play well with our Amazon FireTV stick. Specifically, the LG Magic Remote will often (but not always) be unable to command the FireTV stick functions when the latter is connected as an HDMI input, to the point that it will actually lock up (up/down buttons don't function, cursor grays out). The only recovery is to power down, disconnect/reconnect the FireTV stick, and power back up. Very annoying, but it's not clear that this is an LG problem rather than an Amazon problem. So, I still give the overall product 5 stars, based on how well everything else works.

I'm upgrading my old 2011 tv with this oled. After reading so much about oleds and not pulling the trigger for so long I ended up getting this because it was just priced so cheap. Originally I intended this to be my bedroom tv since I have blackout curtains. It is what I have been primarily using it as but I have also watched numerous videos of people using it as a gaming monitor. It's nice to have that option for PC gaming as well. The picture of course is day and night different from my old tv. It's super bright and the blacks are indeed really black. No complaints at all except I'm wondering if I should get another bigger one for my living room.

I have hunted far and wide for the right monitor for my PC gaming rig only to stumble upon this beauty! The crisp, clear OLED panel provides a smooth 120hz output with no latency and highly accurate black levels. I am also able to switch it to 21:9 ratio to have that Ultra Wide Resolution. And with the accurate blacks, you don't even notice the black bars. I highly recommend this to anyone who is having issues finding that perfect display. I don't plan to switch again!

Possibly might be the most gorgeous screen you can buy for a PC today. The smaller 42” size makes this a perfect candidate for use as an monitor replacement. I just recommend measuring out your current desk space if you’re considering buying one as eye strain is very much a real thing with this if you sit too close to it. Room for a deep desk for your setup may be the most important factor if deciding a purchase. If you want to use this for long periods of time , I think at minimum a desk that is 36” deep or more will help minimize any strain. The little feet that attaches to the TV made for easy cable routing underneath the TV on my desk. The only issue is you can’t adjust the angles or anything since the feet are not adjustable, easily solved with a stand if you’re looking to sit the TV higher on your desk. For me it was perfectly fine as is. The screen auto dims if there is a static image that size for that too long as well (to help reduce the strain on the OLED panel), likely will be noticed if you browse or work on a lot of things with a predominantly white colored background, like word documents. Hooking my PC up to it, it quickly recognized I was hooking a PC up and applied PC settings, like disabling motion blur and enabling game optimizer by default. Gaming experience has been transformative to say the least. Everything is extremely sharp, smooth because of gsync/freesync, and you won’t find colors anywhere else as vibrant than what the C2 displays them as. I was rocking an LG If you’re on the fence, it may be worth seeing if you can look at a demo unit or something. My first experience with OLED was the OLED Nintendo Switch, and that pushed me to look for an OLED display to use with my PC because it had looked so good. Before this I was using a LG QHD Nano IPS display ( 27GP83B-B.AUS), and comparing the two side by side, the C2 makes the IPS panel look like a cheap crappy LCD panel, in terms of colors and vibrancy. The speakers aren’t terrible either, I was pleasantly surprised how good they are for something like this. Obviously if you have your own speakers, those are gonna be better but for what’s built in, it’s not a bad option. Would recommend this to anyone, and I’m so happy we have options like this now for PC users. Also no doubt amazing with a PS5 or Series X. Powering this thing with an i7 12700k and a 3080ti and it’s been a blast. It is a little expensive, which is probably the only real con. Might be worth waiting for Black Friday if you’re in the market but don’t wanna blast the wallet too hard. C1 series is also still, amazing as it is, although 48” being the smallest size offered for that series does make it a harder sell over this. Was it worth it to me though? Absolutely. Can’t be happier.
