I was skeptical about the cleaning power of a washer with no agitator in the center of the washer. However, after many uses on different cycles, I’m convinced that this washer does a great job with cleaning. It has a high load capacity and clothes still come out clean. I give 4 stars because the washer drum is so deep that my 5’ 2” daughter has difficulty getting clothes from the bottom of the washer drum because the drum is as deep as the washer’s height.

On Memorial Day, our dryer died so we purchased a new washer & dryer. These LG appliances were recommended by the salesperson as being quality, reliable, & not crazy expensive. We have been using them for over a month now & have no complaints. It is relatively quiet, easy to use, looks good. I would recommend as a worthwhile purchase.

I love the big size of this washer.It’s easy to use, and fairly quiet. Laundry doesn’t seem quite as fresh though...trying to figure that out.

Old washer bit the dust, so had to make a quick purchase on new washer. After little time to research all the reviews were very good. Then my parents and my spouses parents both have LG top loaders and love them. Going from a front loader back to a top loader was a bit hesitant, but glad I did. Zero regrets, quiet besides the swishing of the water, and cleans good. Even though bought during a sale, I would buy again

we decided to go with a top load to quit having to deal with the smell from front loaders (even if you try to treat for it). we used 2 front loaders for the past 12 years. this unit is quiet and efficient. it is a 5.0 size and to be honest we feel like it holds more than our 5.4 front loader did. you certainly dont feel like you are overloading it at all. the controls are simple to use. highly recommend it if you want a top loader.

After our old style washer finally died after 15 years, we were a little bit cautious about going with a low water usage washer, based on some of the things we had been reading on the internet. This LG has proven to be very efficient and to work as well as our old style washer. We have had zero issues with it and it is very easy to use and our clothes have come out as good or better as before.

Holds a large amount of clothes, quiet, quick, and cleans clothes very well. Love it!

It's hard for me to get excited about washing machines, but I have to say that I am quite pleased with this one. I love the wifi notifications as my laundry room is in my basement, and I no longer have to run up and down the stairs to check whether the wash is done. I also like that the washer is smart enough to know how much water to use for optimal cleaning. For me, this was a good choice.

My previous washer was a Whirlpool Duet Front Loader that I bought 6 yrs ago. I was a little hesitant at first going back to a top loader. But my research on HE top loaders and their overall lower price convinced me to give it a chance. This LG model was “recommended” on Consumer Reports and has a huge 5 cubic feet capacity. My previous duet front loader was 3.8 cubic feet capacity. I love my new washer because it is so much easier to load and holds A LOT more. Consumer Reports rated it average on quietness, but I think it’s great. We had a great experience with the Geek Squas delivering it and installing it (was free with our purchase). So glad we used them because within the first few loads it was making a horrible sound on spin cycle. I took a video of the sound and went back to Beat Buy the next day. They agreed it was faulty, and had it replaced in just a few days. It turns out that a piece of the styrofoam packaging on the underside of the unit had gotten stuck in it when they installed it and was burning out the motor. But the Best Buy and Geek Squad staff were all so professional and friendly and apologetic. Mistakes happen sometimes and we all understand that. They were all great to work with! I will continue to buy from Beat Buy because of their excellent customer service.

Having been used to tiny apartment washing machines, upgrading to this was incredible. The drum is extra large and can reduces total loads from 5 to 2. Even with a very large load, the washing machine stays quiet and cleans well. While it may not have the extras of much more expensive versions, this machine is a great choice for those looking for an upgrade in the middle tier.

I have had a front loader for the past 13 years. Had nothing but problems with latches breaking, door locks breaking and mildew smell. Got tired of sweating and smelling plus the door latch broke again so I researched and got this bad boy! Huge surprise at how awesome this is! It’s HUGE and it is easy to deal with. Can’t wait until my dryer goes out so I can buy the matching product.

This is my first LG product. So far, I really love it. It’s a no brainer when it comes to adding detergent, etc. the drum is huge and can accommodate large items and best of all, it actually gets my clothes clean. For those of us who are horizontally challenged, I recommend a footstool...I need one.

Love my mahine. It is quiet, fits a ton of laundry and is easy to use.
