THE TUB IS VERY LARGE AND SPINS THE CLOTHES DRY. VERY QUIET .

1. I got a very good price, especially if the water company provides the $300 rebate as advertised. 2. I was very satisfied with the delivery/installation. As for the washer itself: 3. Read the manual 1st and, unless you have exotic or custom settings, you just tap the control panel couple times and you're in business. 4. The washer drum is quite large. However, if you fill it more than 50-60% full, you may well not get a satisfactory wash due to insufficient water level. You may find this can be overcome somewhat by using the heavy duty or bedding cycle which seems to add extra water. Doing so, of course, means you will not receive the full HE benefit. 5. The wash time seems to vary. On normal load, it starts out saying it will take 58 minutes however when I time it, it is more like 42-3 minutes. Heavy duty and bedding settings take more time. 6. Others have commented on the odd noises and I agree. They are not loud, but it does do the most peculiar little dance - jerks, fits & starts, twirls - as it tries to determine how much water is required. 6. The spin cycle is quite fast, reducing drying time. I have not experienced any problems of spin cycle unbalance. 7. My old washer lasted about 25 years and was still working when I replaced it. I think a 25 year life cycle for the new unit may be optimistic. If I had the budget and space, I would probably have purchased a front loader. I think that would provide better results.

The best washer ive ever had. Boyfriend helped me pick out this wonderful washer since I was shopping around for one. It has super cool features and a variety of them for all the different kinds of clothing you may have. Its very quiet and seamless when its washing. I love the song it sings to me when its done. Its very easy to use as well.

Replaced my old one with this and loving it so far. Cleans very well and never a problem with balance during spin cycle like my old washer . Cycles can be adjusted to my choices which is great. Fun to watch through clear cover. Finishes cycles faster than my old one. My daughter has same machine and recommended it to me. Glad I listened!

Easy, works great, fits large loads and cleans great!

When we needed a washer we went to Consumer Reports. They listed LG as the top 6 of 7. This washer had a large capacity at a more reasonable price than the top rated machine. So far we are very pleased. It is much quieter than the one it replaced.

Had this washer about a month now and am very happy with the performance. Capacity is enormous. Enough cycles for our needs. Replaced an LG front loader and so far no difference in cleaning ability or wear on clothes noticed. Uses little water and like how it adjusts cycle length automatically to the load size/dirt level.

This is my first Machine to own and i love it. works perfectly, It runs with minimal noise and vibration. it cleans well if you give it the right quantities of clothes. never put clothes more than 3/4 full and you will never regret buying this Machine.

Huge tub and cleans really well and is super quiet

Love this washer! We've been using it for a few months now and have had zero issues. Really deep tub with no aerator so you can fit a lot! Great for washing a comforter or large blankets. It can be a little tough to get socks off the bottom if you are on the short side, but I think the trade off is worth it!

Really like the top load after using a relative’s front load washer which left pet hair & water sitting trapped in front gasket area. This washer cleans away pet hair. Easy to pull clothes out and transfer to the Dryer without smaller items dropping onto the floor. Cleans well & has great options for customizing your load.

Laundry is done daily at our house, this washing machine is up to the task. Not only are the settings easy to use but the performance of this machine is excellent. We have used fewer laundry products that have resulted in a better outcome.

Seems like we are constantly washing clothes. It keeps up with our needs and really helps with the large capacity. Controls are easy to learn and use. Notice a decrease in our water bill.

Bought the GE model similar to this one(same capacity and features). When Best Buy went to deliver the GE it wasn’t in stock even though they called the day before to confirm delivery. So I had to go in and get one they had in stock to use while I waited another two weeks for it to come. We got the LG(the model I’m reviewing) to use in the interim. It worked great. Spun the clothes very dry so when you put them in the dryer, they need very little drying. Two weeks passes and they delivered/exchanged the LG for the GE. The GE left the clothes soaked even after an extra spin. I couldnt understand how a brand new product could perform so poorly. We suffered through another two weeks and decided we’d had enough. So I went back to Best Buy and repurchased the LG. Love it. So glad we had the chance to compare it to another washer.

What I like most about this washer is that there is no center agitator. This makes washing large items like comforters very economical. No more laundromats for me! It uses a lot less water also and clothes still come out clean. Nice that you have the option to add more water for heavily soiled loads. I am satisfied with my purchase.

I've owned a front loader for 12 years, but I was never happy with it. So, when it finally went, I knew I wanted a top loader again. Staying with the LG product, I chose this one because of its load capacity. It’s big enough to wash king size comforters, and the sheets without issues. I had no idea that the washer had WiFi capabilities at the time of purchase. We can set the washer when you leave for work, and the turn it on, via phone, right before you come home, so it’s done when you get home without your clothes sitting wet all day. You can also program new washing cycles that the washer didn’t come with. I highly recommend this washer, I would give it 10 stars if they offered it!
