Drying issues after 10 months
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My machine is constantly telling me to clean the filter, even though I cleaned all three filters thoroughly. It's not drying clothes properly and is accumulating moisture in the lint trap. Will be looking to get my money back on this machine and replace with a different brand.

I have never filled the drum more than 1/2 full. It has only taken 2 hours to wash and dry each load and the clothes and towels have always come out dry. I have seen reviews with people complaining about the clothes not coming out dry. They must be overfilling the drum. You need to clean out the lint filter after every load and you should wipe down the rubber gasket after every load. So far I love it!

It does take a bit more care when it comes to lint. Follow the maintenance recommendations in the owner's manual, and it works great. You can't ignore the maintenance. If you do, you will find the drying times increase. Our machine is on an inside wall, without a vent and only a 110-volt outlet, so this washer and dryer combo is perfect. One more thing... Be sure not to overload the washer. It will make the drying times much longer.

And this is complete nonsense where it is said that it cannot dry well and that the drying time is quite long. “The golden rule” Everyone knows it the washing machine is half full for washing and half full for drying! so far the washing machine is working great and I hope it will be like this in the future!

Lint stays in the drum, condensation builds up in the actual lint tray, and it will stay in dry mode on 4 min for 8 bleeping hours. Your clothes will not dry and forget about trying to wash a comforter. Spent way too much having to hang dry items after 50-11 hours of wait time. I'm so upset and should not have to take clothes to a laundromat. NEGATIVE STARS!

It uses a standard 110V plug for power, which saves a lot on both my energy consumption and my electric bill. My clothes come out clean and dry without having to switch clothes from one machine to another or running extra cycles. It’s definitely a wonderful game changer. I also love that I can connect it to my WiFi and control it through the LG app.

Our clothes will be completely dry and it will continue to run through the night. According to the LG customer service agent, there is no humidity sensor in this model.

Dryer function useless

It takes 5-6 hours for the dry cycle on top of 2 hours for a wash, it has no duct and is all electric. Taking 7 hours per load is ridiculous and I’m now realizing this was a snake oil feature that is meant to trap you by paying double without actually getting the real solution. LG is hoping you just give up, dont bother with a return and buy another separate gas dryer unit while they profit off the mistake. Save yourself the money and go with two seaprate units, they never intended to undercut their tradtional model giving you one device that does it all well.
