It's been a year since purchasing both the washer and the dryer. The representative is charging me $79.00 even though I have a full warranty.

We understand your concern about dealing with mold buildup in your LG Washer (WM3470CW) model, and drying issues with your dryer—especially when you’re still within the warranty period. For the washer, it might help to run the Tub Clean cycle regularly with a recommended washing machine cleaner to keep that mold at bay. If your dryer is not drying properly, make sure to check the lint filter and exhaust vent to clear any blockages since restricted airflow can affect how well it dries. Owned for 5 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Machine was purchased mid September, late December it started w/ error code PE, apparently this indicates a problem with the water level sensor. Upon requesting a service call LG responded by providing troubleshooting tips. Finally sent a technician yesterday. Tech initially said the issue was an improperly placed hose but the error code persisted. He said he was ordering a part and would return in 2 days to complete repair. Before leaving he set the washer on "tub clean" cycle and stated I could continue to use machine. About 30 minutes later water is flooding out of the front of the machine, the drum was completely filled with water. Laundry room flooded. I am guessing this is because the machines water level sensor malfunction. No clue as to why the technician thought this was an appropriate course of action. Still waiting on word from LG, terrible customer service and poorly trained technicians
