Small space, Big Sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very good speaker bar system. Great spacial for small areas with regular dimensions, good for open and irregular rooms. Its true, overhead ATMOS sound performance is weak. Room calibration is super easy, and recommended. Good clear, wide sound stage. Bass speaker performance is good, very good if you calibrate to the room correctly, and Great if you can have it contact your seat, and transmit a "butt-kicker" esque effect. Compatible with true wireless surrounds, (not included) so +1 for cost management and future upgradablity. Make sure you have a wide and long table... this is a very long system.

Great Complement to LG 65" CX OLED
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this sound bar to complement LG 65" CX OLED TV for our master bedroom. The sound from the TV itself was OK but I wanted something a bit better. The soundbar is a great complement to the 65" CX LG OLED. It was very easy to set up. The sound is much better than the sound from the flat panel. While the sound cannot compete with our 7.1 home theater, it is great for our bedroom.

I like it
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good sound, nice looking. I would love a little more bass, i feel that it is missing some bass. I got it as an open box and honestly i think it was not returned but a demo from the store that maybe they didnt want to use because everything was brand new and in its packages

Great sound and value
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the dollars I think the sound coming out of this is great. I do wish there was less of a push to run the setup through google assistant. I would think that most people are attaching this to a TV and would want to drive the smarts from there or a connected streaming device. Just feels like bloat and if you are an Apple user it stinks to have to go through that to get the firmware updated. At this time the EARC is not syncing well with PC audio from my LG CX but it 'sounds' like that may be an issue with the TV that will be resolved hopefully before the PS5 and Xbox Series X

Sub issues.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worked great for a while, but the sun became unresponsive. Reached out to LG directly with the model and serial number on the sub and they told me that it was an invalid part number. Sent pictures and everything and they couldn’t help me. Going to try Best Buy support, but ultimately this is very frustrating to have no low end in my home theater. It’s next to impossible to add a sub to this set up.

LED indicator NEVER turns off!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The subwoofer didn’t power on with the first unit I brought home. Had to exchange for another, but was still disappointed. I paired this with an LG OLED CX and the sound cut out and sounded underwhelming with scenes that should have been more bassy (in my opinion). To get an adequate level or bass I felt like I had to turn the bar up to very high volumes, which would often cause distortion on the center channel with dialogue. The worst part, by far, though, was that the LED indicator on the front of the bar is always on. It says what input you are on constantly, which is incredibly distracting when you are watching a dark scene in a movie. Definitely takes away from feeling immersed in the movie. I became so bothered by it that I taped over it with electrical tape, which felt wrong considering how much this bar costs. I can’t come up with a reason that anyone would want this feature. However, please know I looked in every forum and manual I could find. There is no setting or way to turn it off! Trust me. This alone makes it not worth buying. Ended up returning for the JBL 9.1 and I’m very happy I did. It sounds far better. Additionally, it’s one of the only other bars you can buy that will fit below the bottom edge of the TV if you aren’t wall mounting.

Good but not great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good sound but not great. I think the Visio Elevate sounded better to me. Sub is a little boomy to me. Would rather have a down-firing sub for this kind of price.

Great Sound, Mediocre Connection
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound itself is great, and it looks great sitting on a table. The review is 3 stars because the soundbar will just randomly disconnect from the tv and no sound will come out. Sometimes it happens after a few hours and sometimes after a few minutes. It is connected to an LG CX through E-ARC so I have a hard time imagining it is an issue with the TV. Annoying that something in this price range won’t just stay on.

Some Sound Drops ... TV or Soundbar, I'm not sure
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to accompany my Samsung Q70T after returning the actual Samsung Soundbar because it didn't play well with the Samsung TV ... epic fail Samsung!!! It was an open box item with the only issue being a small scratch on top of the speaker ... not an issue at all especially given the discount. It works well, the only issue is that Dolby Atmos sound drops sometimes, and I have heard that is perhaps an issue with the TV processing and perhaps not the soundbar. Otherwise, I am very pleased.

A very good sound bar
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This seems to be a very good sound bar. If you are looking for the ability to go loud, this one will do it! If you are looking for clarity in voice, this one will provide it. The only reason for the 4 stars is it does feel a bit high on the price, but if you have the money, it is worth a look if you are upgrading your system! To be blunt, it outperforms my old surround system (no question about that), but at full price, it seems a bit high. So, kind of neutral on this. If you can get it on sale, I would say take look at it!

Good Soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice sound bar. A good mid level device but now it is a few generations old and the new versions are getting much better. It tends to have a little too much treble for my preference (even on the lowest setting). Base module puts out a nice thump for its woofer size. Base doesn't over dominate like some other bars I have tried. I would not have paid the full original price for it at $999. But it was a $300 mark down clearance and fair value at that $699 price point in my opinion.

Decent soundbar.

Excellent but...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellence 5.1.2 surround system to go with my lgcx tv. The only problem for me it was it was a little bit too much for my room. I wasn't able to really distinguish the surround sound from the Soundbar itself but attached to the subwoofer and the rear speakers it was actually really good. Unfortunately the app does not provide us with great choices as far as equalizing the sound is concerned. I actually returned it because it was a little too overwhelming for my small room.

Awesome beast!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had it for over a month now. The sound on this thing is great! We never turn it up as loud as it can go, as that would be way too loud, but the sound is even, crisp, and just the right amount of base. We have this hooked up with a 65" TV and it is the perfect size for it. Definitely would recommend.

Pretty good
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this soundbar and the oomph it gives to everything on my tv. The atmos is alright but i have tall vaulted ceilings. The surround sound is pretty good and the bass is good. I had some issues with connectivity early but that hasnt been an issue for a few months.

Incredible Soundbar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the SL8YG last year im early 2019. I love that soundbar, but always felt like it lacked something. Decided to upgrade yesterday to a bigger more expensive LG soundbar because I already had the Rears...........by far the best soundbar I have ever owned. I believe it even has speakers on the side that make the soundstage wider. The rears arent even a neccesity but they certainly help. LG SN9YG all the way!!!!!!!!

Great soundbar.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall a great soundbar. A bit on the expensive side. Great sound. Easy to install. I got mine as an open box deal so a couple things actually were missing but it wasn’t a problem. I was still able to get things connected and sounding way better than my previous setup.

Great Soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive had the sound bar a few months and can't complain. Sound quality is amazing, especially listening to Dolby Atmos and Dolby Audio from Tidal. Hardware limitation or networks speeds for streaming are what will screw up you audio quality as I found out. If you have everything set up appropriately, you won't regret this speaker. The only downside is needing the Google home app to set it up.

Great sound, worth the cost.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice sounding sound bar. So good I returned it and bought the SN11RG. High quality construction and great BT and Wi-Fi support. My only complaint is the subwoofer sounds a bit weak at times, but overall fills the room and performs nicely.
