A great mid-tier Dolby Atmos soundbar that delivers solid performance for the price. I highly recommend it. It didn’t get five stars only because I wish it included an extra HDMI 2.1 input. That aside, it sounds fantastic, works straight out of the box, and the app makes setup easy. If you’re looking for a system with satellite speakers, this one’s hard to beat at this price point.

Extremely louder than I expected and the two satellite speakers are more than enough. I was going to get the next model up but the price for the next model up was not worth if for me and I am glad I decided to pass. I can only imagine how loud the other model would be but the S80TR is more than enough and extremely loud

The sound is great for the size and the ease of installation is appreciated. Could use better hanging points on the rear speakers and it would be 5 stars if integration with non LG tvs was better. I have to turn the soundbar off and on every time for a sony tv.

The sound is Amazing!!!! My husband was actually the one who wanted to buy the system and I thought it was unnecessary, but now I can’t watch Tv without it. It just doesn’t sound or feel the same. You feel like you’re in the theater in your own home.

Probably the best lg soundbar ive owned so far, and ive own the last 3 generations of lgs high end soundbars w the rear speakers. Especially like the rear speakers are wireless only needing to connect to power. Only thing its missing is 120hz passthrough and ALLM for gaming

Don’t buy it unless you have a LG TV. Made that mistake and now I’m stuck with it.
It doesn’t sound too bad nor does it have connection issues. It’s not that. I just can’t use the entirety of the features available to increase the bass because I have a Samsung tv. So the bass is trash even with the EQ setting having it maxed out and messing with the app. I literally keep the subwoofer behind my couch just so I can feel/hear the bass. If I put it where it says to have it, by the soundbar, I hear nothing but treble. Oh, and the AI Sound thing…yeah. That’s trash. Don’t use it. Fix the EQ setting’s yourself.
Durability is there though. Overall I love it. Just wish it had punchier bass.

I would say it as excellent mid range soundbar, it is feature pack like flagship models, room calibration is an advantage at this price point, bass could have been little more but overall I am happy with it and will recommend to buy for less than $500 deal price.

Overall it’s a solid soundbar system, but not as loud as I would expect and often has trouble with loosing connection to lg wow orchestra as the designated sound device.

I was really impressed by the overall sound. Movies and games were full, clear sound. I do change the setting from cinema to game and it does make a difference. The one thing this soundbar isn’t good for is music. My 5 year old Sony sound bar does a much better job with music. Even after trying adjustments in the app, I couldn’t get this soundbar to represent the music very well. Worth full price? No. But 5.1.3 at $500, yes - especially if your focus is movies or gaming.

Excellent system! Easy set up and calibration, and very good sound for tv and movies. Also easily handled music streamed from my phone. I hope to be snowed in this winter!

Amazing sound system. Extremely clear and when paired with the LG tv i got it is a wonderful addition. You dont need it for normal tv shows and stuff but when you watch a movie and have it on, its a whole different level of entertainment. Sounds are so lifelike my dog has even gotten up to check if there was another animal outside, where as before it didnt phase her.

This was an open box, excellent grade, purchase. Everything was there. Everything functioned as designed. For my area of use, the sound is great. I lucked out on this one.

Sound great for the most part. There are times when the voices can sound muffled depending on what you're watching, but that could just be the mixing for the show/movie. I like that fact that there is an app that lets you control the speakers since the remote that it comes with has very limited function.

The LG surround sound system delivers impressive audio quality with rich bass, clear vocals, and immersive surround effects. Setup is straightforward, and the sleek design fits well in any space. It pairs easily with LG TVs and other devices, enhancing the overall experience. While it excels for movies and music, the remote could be more intuitive, and some users may find the price a bit high. Overall, a solid choice for home entertainment.

This system sounds great, I was really surprised at the sound it produced. I also liked that the sub and rear speakers were wireless and only required a power cord.
