I love the capacity of this washing machine and having a light inside when it's done

We had an LG washer before (for 11 years) and replacing it with another LG was the right choice. This washer is quiet, connected to WiFi and has all the functions that we need.

Overall, it is a decent machine, but I was disappointed with the build quality. There are lots of cheap plastics, and the door locking mechanism feels flimsy when you shut and open it. I expected something more solid for this price. No complaints as far as the quality of the wash and the App interface is nice.

This washer is horrible. It vibrates and rattles so much when rinsing. Checked to see if it was unbalanced and there was no issue there. Changed the speed setting and still did the same this. I had it for 2 days and it caused so much damage to my walls and flooring. The washer itself is beautiful and looks elegant, but wash cycles are a horrible experience. This washer vibrates so much the door broke.
I would not recommend this washer to anyone.

So I bought this washer a little over a month ago. Built a pedestal stand for both my washer and dryer to avoid back fatigue. I have a family of 7. 2 adults, 3 teenagers and 2 kids. I mention this to give you a picture of the wash loads I'm washing. Heavy soiled jeans, lots of towels, white clothes by the bundle, stinky socks and all. I bought this washer as an upgrade to be able to wash less loads but get more done. I was hesitant due to the price and wondered how it would affect my power bill. Well I'm here to compliment this washer and it's features. I saw other reviews that worried about the "cheap contruct" let me tell you light weight materials doesn't mean cheaply made. It is a sturdy washer. If it was any heavier I'd think twice on putting it up on a pedestal. Like that the door is not heavy i tend to leave these front loading washers open when not in use to prevent mildew built up. With a heavy door there's risk of it messing with the alignment of the hinges. Not only are my clothes coming put clean and not soaked when too heavy, but i am actually saving money on the power bill. I used to run washer and dryer all day 5 days a week and could never stay caught up. But now.... oh my gosh i wish i would have done this earlier. The selling point is this pair that i can wash my Minky Couture blanket that is delicate coming out in perfect condition. I've ruined other minkys by washing them in my previous top loader. I risked it on this one and i am not a scared to wash my minky anymore. Bonus is the wifi option to create other cycles. Thanks LG!

Excellent machine, cleans very well. Very quiet, easy to use. The only issue I have with this machine is the door. When shut, it sometimes doesn't shut all the way. You have to close if forcefully. Could have been a better design on the door. Otherwise, very happy.

We have had this washer for about a month and so far, so good! It's reliable, easy house and the wash come out clean. I debated about buying such a high capacity washer for just four people, but I love it. I am able to get the laundry done in significantly fewer loads thanks to its high capacity. I also have been washing all our blankets, comforters, etc. Additionally, I love being able to connect the washer to my phone wirelessly because I get an alert every time a load is done, which also enables me to get the wash done in a shorter amount of time.
Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed product experience feedback. ^Jennifer

We had an lg washer prior to this one that we loved but it was 15 yrs old and died so we upgrade. This one is ok. Holds a lot of clothes and gets them clean. But it has the typical front loading washer issues with mold in the rubber despite the door being left open and rubber wiped. After having a year it's starting to smell like mildew too. Wish I would have save a lot of money and went with a basic washer. This one is Not worth the price.

Excellent washer in regard to noise level and anti vibration. Much better than the last two units I've had. I wish it had buttons instead of a touch screen. The thing I find most difficult is being able to tell what cycle the light is actually indicating. I always have to switch it to the alternate side, then back and I count the movement until I get the cycle I want. This definitely needs improvement.

This is the third LG washer and dryer we have purchased. The new LG washer is very quiet.
But the touch screen is still dark -- like the previous LG’s. We are using a flashlight (plus dots of White Out) just to see the control panel options. (There is a light on the specific option, but not on the words that indicate which option it is.) Just because a 25- year-old engineer has the eyes of a hawk doesn’t mean that the rest of the population does!
One would think that LG would do consumer focus groups to test the unit, using various ages and in various environments. . . A tiny LED light bulb and a fully backlit panel would solve the issue. The end user needs to see the control panel!
Note about installers: Watch attentively while they install the washer and dryer. Even though I was watching, the installer left the drain hose unattached. We did not notice until the spin cycle started. Then we had a swimming pool upstairs and downstairs, even though I shut it off quickly. The company said they couldn’t come until the next day. (Meanwhile, my wife and I got it cleaned up and fixed ourselves.) Don’t hesitate to watch and ask questions. And do a final inspection before you let them leave.
