    Purchased this washer and dryer as a set. The washer seems to have a manufacturers problem! The cycle does not end by itself it keeps starting over. The timer doesn’t work....it counts down and then restarts. Called LG only to be put on hold and then given another number to call that doesn’t work! Ridiculous that there is no customer service. Brand new machine and cannot get it to function. Please do not buy this machine!

    Trash. Do not buy this washer. Broke just after a month of use. I had to contact LG for over 3 month for them to find a fix. And a year later it broke again.

    Washing Machine Damaged

    Bought new washer and dryer - upon delivery washer was damaged when the guys unboxed it ( not there fault ) was told someone would contact me immediately to rectify the problem- he would send in a picture - I’m guessing the geek squad would then contact me while the delivery/ installer was on the other line in case of questions- waited patiently for over an hour no phone call - I called the 888 number got hold of a lady that didn’t offer me any choices other than to replace it - I would have excepted a discount and saved myself and them some trouble - not happy with there process at all not mention I wasted a whole day waiting on them and then calling there 888 number for over an hour on two different calls .

    LG has a year warranty, and after six months, the cold water inlet collapsed. LG technician took 2 weeks to come out here and say "yup, its broken"'. WoRST WASHER EVER.

    Died after two months.

    Installed this in early May (just two months ago), and this morning my wife discovered it's not working at all. I checked the outlet--it is getting electricity, but the display is completely dead. No warning, hasn't been acting weird lately, but today it died (on a Sunday, with a bunch of laundry waiting to be done). Now I'm going to have to call LG and see how long we wait for a repair technician to come out.

    I wanted to share my experience with Best Buy, which has been incredibly frustrating. Despite waiting for over a month, my dryer delivery was canceled three times without explanation. And now, to make matters worse, I am unable to return my washer. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service I have received and I hope that Best Buy will take immediate action to resolve this issue.

    Really Noisy

    While this was a good price deal for the size, the noise from this washer was unbearable. Our laundry room is on the 2nd floor, so that may be the reason. It was replaced with another new one, but the problem persisted.

    Purchased washer and dryer about 2 weeks ago. Geek squad services to adress issues lacking greatly. Issue with internet connection to the machine and the fact that the dryer door opens into the washing machine should have been identifed and addressed at installation. 2 service visits later the chip for internet connection has been replaced but the dryer door reversal that was supposed to be completed is still not done. Now, I need to call to make yet another appt to get it taken care of.

    Failed in less than 2 years, part no longer would depends pure cold water. LG of course couldn’t be bothered to foot the labor bill but gladly provided the faulty part free.

    Started leaking 10 days after purchase, It was an open box, Best buy took care of me. It was nice for those 10 days though...

    Loud grinding noise.

    Bought this model after reading a pretty good review for it. After getting it home the machine made a loud metallic grinding noise during the agitation cycle. That one was returned to Best Buy and replaced with the same model. This time it was delivered and installed by Best Buy, but the new one made the same metallic grinding noise during the agitation cycle just like the first one. We're now having to return that second one and are replacing it with a Samsung.

    Could not add the washer to the LG ThinQ app. The app just says unable to connect and I tried many times. The app asked for a lot of permissions including precise location, bluetooth, network, cell data, camera, etc., and would not even attempt to add the device without all of those permissions. But even after it had all the permissions it was still unable to add. This is my first LG appliance and it is a nightmare experience.

    Don’t waste your money.

    From the first day we installed, this washer did not work properly. It made such loud noises that you could hear it from the second floor all the way to the driveway. Geek squad was here 4 times and after the final time repairs were done then it wouldn’t even wash clothes anymore. Finally returned it and bought a different one.

    Iffy for now

    I am going to give it a 2 for now. I have had this washer for three weeks and the motor that exports the water started making a noise similar to an 18 wheeler going down the road. It is being replaced tomorrow and hopefully it was just a rogue issue.
