    We went through way too many tvs in an effort to please my husband. We even bought the OLED 55" 4K UHD, which was great, but was very pricey. My husband loves LG and decided to try this television and we ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! It is less than the OLED, but the picture quality is so similar! All of the Best Buy/LG reps that we worked with were excellent, kind, and so helpful! This is a fantastic television!!!

    The TV gives me everything I want from a 4k TV; excellent picture, HDR compatible, ease of use. This is my second 4k TV. Both TVS have had problems caused by the lack of complete compatibility with the Samsung K8500 4k blu-ray player. I would imagine that this could happen with any other than Samsung TV. I would recommend waiting to purchase a 4k blu-ray player for this TV until additional options are available. The 10 out of 10 rated Panasonic UB 900 is due out in September and the Phillips unit is due out in October. Both have been rated far superior to the K8500. Wait.

    Dolby Vision provides upscaling to 4K and enhances 2D video to 3D-like pictures. The picture is great, whether from my digital cable, the streaming apps, or older sony blu-ray player. I'm not concerned with absolute color accuracy, I like a picture that pops in either dim or brightly lit rooms. This delivers. The picture off a 3D blu-ray doesn't disappoint either. Sound quality is much better than I expected - not home theater quality but enjoyable without a sound bar. Miracast from phones or tablets is another plus. The remote is OK but not perfect - but the TV functions well with my Logitech remote. Another HDMI input would be nice, and I haven't seen a 4K input yet, but it is so good working with what I have I am not disappointed in any way.
