The picture quality is outstanding! It was worth the risk of burn in if you are a gamer and willing to baby the tv a little. Movies at 24p look good but there was some stutter at certain moments. I need to play with the control more to see if it can be resolved. Overall satisfied.

Make no mistake, this is a really good TV. It's packed with features: HDMI 2.1, very slim design, easy user interface, and crazy bright for an OLED. Unfortunately, its not perfect. Motion blur, even when set on high to correct, happens during fast moving sports. The screen pixelated during a huge action explosion scene. Full disclosure, the motion blur and pixelation happened when watching cable. It's great with movies and 4k content. Also, the eARC doesn't work properly. Every time I turned the TV on I had to reset the eARC feature to get sound. Some contrast is lost with how bright it is. Ultimately I returned it and went with the Sony A9G. It handles motion better, the explosion scene didn't pixelate, and eARC works. Colors are more natural than the C9 and some scenes have better contrast, though it doesn't get as bright as the C9. With all that said, the C9 is still a really good option and more affordable. It's a good all around TV.

picture is crystal clear and vibrant. Easy to set up . Can't comment about sound quality as I am running it through a Bose home theater system. Watching sports, it feels like you are in the stadium which is about as close as I'm going to get in this time of Covid

The color is fantastic, the screen is fantastic. I have been wanting one of these for quite some time, and am glad that I finally purchased it. Definitely blows my 5 year old Samsung 4k tv out of the water.

The LG C9 tv is awesome, this tv has it all picture quality and all the latest smart tv features. I believe in giving a honest review and what this tv has to offer is outstanding picture quality: the deepest blacks I have ever seen and enough adjustments in the settings to get the picture to your liking. The only (Con) I had was picture (Burn-In), so I purchased the geek-squad warranty to ease those concerns and read more detail about this issue so I can understand what I am getting into before purchasing tv. I am not baby sitting a tv so getting the warranty and the tv has some features that help prevent this issue assisted me in buying this tv. The LG C9 picture quality is the best I have ever seen, you cannot go wrong with purchasing this tv.

Likes: The picture has a real natural color with very good black level. I have earc working and it works great. A lot of different settings does take a little time to setup but I most likely have a more complex system than most.
Still not sure on the remote but that it most part maybe it has features that I'm not use to. Just may take a little time to get the hang of it.
Dislikes: I don't like the stand. It is just to long and sits to far from the wall. Also do not like the thin glass that makes it kind of scary when you go to move it.

I know everyone is concern about burn in but I think that isn’t a concern for normal users and I’m pretty sure buried in the settings there’s an option to minimise the risk of burn in. For normal use, if the tv detects a static image let say u pause a scene for abt a few minute it goes blank and hence pixels are not illuminated so there wouldn’t be a chance for burn in, before purchasing this I did a lot of research on the internet, burn in is really the least of concern, you’ll need to really abuse it to get burn in. If you’re still worried get the geek squad protection as it comes with 2 years coverage and it covers burn ins. The image quality of this is phenomenal provided you give it the best source available. 4K Dolby Vision content like Interstellar on iTunes Store just look out of this world ! Trust me you won’t regret with the purchase and it’s worth every buck of it. What a great time to get OLED TVs

I had my doubts with LG, OLED, but I decided and bought it. Now, I am much more than satisfied. At first I had bought a B9 until a BB employee told me that the C9 is better, I do not regret it, unique blacks, impeccable brightness, madness Dolby Vision!

This TV has one of the best pictures I've ever seen on a TV and other than the burn in problem others have complained about which I have not seen with my TV yet this is a great buy. I purchased the Geek Squad Warranty just in case for piece of mind.

This is an excellent TV. LG has done a great job! The TV is elegantly designed. The picture and color are so vivid thanks to the OLED technology; and the built-in sound is great. The functions and remote were well thought-out. Strongly recommended.

My first OLED experience and totally loving it. Stepping way up from an old school Plasma and don't think I can look at any other TV that isn't OLED again... Amazing, crisp picture quality and true blacks from LG. The ease and smart TV functions are great. The sound is also pretty good for just the TV speakers. Definitely worth the upgrade and wouldn't do anything else except an OLED.
Best Buy experience was amazing. Ordered online and pick-up was in about an hour! Great staff to help move to my vehicle and load up.

This television has amazing contrast, the blacks are truly black not dark grey. It is a step up from a LCD set that I own from a few years ago with full array back lighting. Not the cheapest thing on the market, but truly an exceptional picture.

My first OLED, the best tv I’ve ever had, webOS takes some getting used to coming from a Roku device but you’ll get used to it. My main complaint is the lack of apps compared to competitors and the amount of ads in the OS.

The Tv is awesome. I love the 55in. It doesn't make the room feel small and the Tv is so slim. It is glass. The 4k games are awesome on this tv. It has so many smart features. I can control my cable box from the tv remote. It sync's up with everything.

I tried many other name brand TVs on the high end side and after much viewing and a couple returns I found this the best for what I watch. Nothing would annoy me more then halos or ghosting around a light object (say a candle) in a dark room and with OLED this is a thing of the past. It's going on a year and a half since I bought this and it is just great. I use it with an Apple TV 4K as I prefer that interface so don't use the Smart WebOS features although they do work well when I tried them out. The quality of the picture still amazes me, like looking through a window.
The sound on this unit is also pretty darn good and I am quite happy to use the built in speakers although I have since connected an external stereo pair along side it

I've owned the LG C9PUA 55" television for about 3 weeks now. I owned an LG OLED 55" prior to this one. It was about 3 years old. The C9PUA blows that one away and I thought that one was pretty good. The picture on the C9 is noticeably better. Better color brightness and definition. The faster processor makes navigating much faster and smoother. I know these OLED's are considerably more expensive but if you want the best, it'll cost you. I would, without hesitation recommend the LG C9.

Awesome tv! It holds a very nice picture and even looks great in a room with lots of windows and bright light. The sound is mediocre but the watching movies really is better with a sound bar.
Wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again. Nailed it!
