    Received unit with a stove door that doesnt close fullyband causes the stove to turn on and off and the light to stay on as well.

    Oven temperature is not stable

    The top portion of the range performs well, but the oven does not maintain a constant temperature. It can vary up or down by as much as 50 degrees and fluctuates over time. Although the temperature setting can be recalibrated, it can only be recalibrated in one direction (up or down) and by no more than 30 degrees. Calibration is useless, since the oven temperature can vary in either direction and at any time during baking. We have had several baking disasters because of this problem.

    Do not buy this product! Bought it 6 months ago and it has rust! Best Buy says it's a manufacturer's defect and LG says since it's cosmetic damage, nothing they can do! Will not be buying anymore LG products!

    delivered with rusted crates. On hold with LG over 1 hour and hung up on me 3 times.

    Can’t get parts. Poor value.

    Have had this range for about 1.5 years now. Loud whining cooling fan on oven was annoying but tolerable. Then after about 1 year, oven wouldn’t maintain temp. Had igniter replaced. Still didn’t work. Now certified repair company says motherboard needs replacing but on back order. Been unable to use oven for last 3 months with no part replacement in sight. Junk.

    google LG range F9 error

    This LG range has issues with the oven staying on, no heat from the oven. After 3 months, the oven will not stay on. This common manufacture flaw is documented all over the net, "LG range F9 error." (please google) Unfortunately, these parts are cheap and will not hold up after minimal use. Very disappointed that this is so common.

    LOUD WHINING NOISE!!!

    The oven makes a loud whining noise from the cooling fan while baking and for 20 mins afterward. Definitely a design defect. I had a service technician look at it and LG won’t replace it because it is operating “normally”. I’d recommend going with a different range.

    LG Gas Range Fire Hazard

    Unit caught in fire after using self-clean mode (1 yr old). Unit was replaced, after a year, mother board had to be replace and was having issues with fire again.

    Needed major repair 3 months after warranty ended

    We bought this very expensive range because it was one of the few that would fit into our kitchen space. We did not buy the extended warranty. A $2,000 range should last, right? Wrong. 3 months after the 1-year warranty ended, the control circuitboards burned out and needed a $525 replacement. LG would not help with the repair and it was impossible to get Best Buy customer service on the phone (I waited on hold for over 1/2 hour multiple times). We will never buy anything from Best Buy again.

    Avoid LG Products

    Purchased LG Gas oven in 2021 - has had 2 repairs so far - had to pay BestBuy to repair in 2024 because LG would not fix a former issue that former repairman caused. Will NEVER Purchase LG products again. Note: Issues with LG Microwave also -purchased at same time.
