It took a week of adjustments before I got the picture right. Love the remote and ease of using all of the tv's features. Side viewing is great for a LED.

This TV is great for all types of viewing, sports, news, etc. The picture is very clear no matter how close or how far away you sit, which is perfect for our family viewing. All of the HD shows have more of a "depth" or dimension to them than our plasma did and we are very pleased with that. The color is crisp, the blacks seem quite black. Overall a good purchase.

I went with the LG 65UB9500 over the Samsung UN65HU8550 as I've been a happy LG customer in the past and, more importantly, they had a great price on this model. Pros: This is a very well rounded TV that is great for sports, movies and general programming. I really wanted to ensure this would produce a great picture for ice hockey and it does just that. The 4K content is fantastic and the medium and bright scenes are unreal for both 4k and non-4k content. Watching Breaking Bad in 4K on Netflix was absolutely incredible. The picture settings are also very adjustable and allows you to produce a picture that is great for movies (Not just a bright picture, but rather a more natural look. Think cinema setting, but even better). The magic remote makes navigation simple and the WebOS is a very intuitive. Cons: The black levels are disappointing. There are cloudy and uneven scenes when watching Game of Thrones and I really expected better performance at this price point. I've also noticed occasional dirty screen effect (DSE), but it's slight and infrequent. I have not experienced the Samsung UN65HU8550 in a home setting (you can't trust what you see in the store) but I would imagine the overall quality would be similar. Black levels on Samsung TVs are typically better than others and I would absolutely imagine that's the case here. However, I've always found their picture a bit too bright, with few adjustments available to create that natural picture thats great for movies. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and would recommend this TV to others.

Excellent picture quality, very easy to navigate, and the best sound quality I've heard from a thin TV. the magic remote saves a lot of time when you need to input text, don't have to toggle through all these letters, just point and click. Can't wait for more 4k content to come out, as of now it's pretty limited.

Picture and sound quality is fantastic. Compared TVs from Sony and Samsung. Nothing came close to the great price for a 4K TV and the quality of picture from a wide viewing angle is just as good as the curved TVs we looked at. Only down fall that has been experienced is that the APP for sinking content with the TV from your phone or computer only states that it will be available in the second half of 2014. The point and click interface of the smart remote is easy to use and very intuitive, especially if you are used to using a computer mouse. I have downloaded the smart remote on my smartphone and have used this for model of TV. Works great.

This is a great tv beats standard hd tv,s by far. It is easy to set up. The picture quality is fantastic. DVD blue ray is fantastic and 4k on netflix is great. I recommend it to every one. Sports programs have great quality also. The color on this tv is super sharp.

I researched 4K's for a couple of months before pulling the trigger and purchasing the 65" LG. My prior set was an LG, 55" HD, and I was impressed by the outstanding picture that it delivered. The picture was bright and the color vivid. Based on that, I was leaning toward an LG, but I gave equal time to researching Samsungs. I finally found an LG advertised in store and went to check them out. I was interested in Samsung curved and an LG. I settled on an LG, but the sales rep showed me the next model up, also an LG. I could see the difference in the bright picture on screen. About two weeks later Best Buy had the same TV advertised for less money, and Best Buy gladly refunded the difference on a price match guarantee, saved me about $150. I have been very happy with my purchase. Had to go to Netflix and Amazon to find 4K content to play on the TV, but the picture is wonderful. Can't wait for more content to be available in 4K.

Was looking for a 70" TV for media room, and after discussion purchased this 65" LG. Am glad I did. Very clear picture and have watched 3D movies on it that were really fun to view. Also our "go to" TV in the house for sports, especially basketball and ice hockey.

Hands down the best TV I have ever owned. The sound quality is amazing for a TV this thin and the picture quality is incredible. There are more features than I will ever use and it has changed my entire movie watching experience. I highly recommend this TV!!

I can't believe I ever watched a movie or television program without this LG television. It's clear, colorful, and the 3D is amazing on the 4k.Definately worth every penny.

I would actually give this four and three quarter stars if I could...picture is sharp and crisp.... the remote control with a pointer feature makes searching and other operations very easy.... the only thing that would make this TV better would be to have access to more apps.

This is my first large LED TV and I was very satisfied with the quality of the picture.. Very easy to install on a wall mound and set up.. I am not sure about the magic remote yet and need to get use to it.

Although the order process left much to be desired based either on web site issues or high traffic at the time we were trying to order, the order was handled in a timely manner thereafter and delivered to store within the advertised delivery window. Misinformation issue regarding My BestBuy signup and credit for purchase was finally resolved after en email to customer service. Product is exactly what we wanted and at a competitive price. Reasonably easy to set up by a novice.

I have been thoroughly impressed with this TV! The magic remote is a little different to get used to but intuitive and makes interacting with the menus very easy. The Picture quality is absolutely amazing, watching 4K content just has to be seen to appreciate. The upconverting feature makes even non HD sources look great and HD is awesome. The only complaint (if there is one) is the HDMI ports are designed for vertain types of devices and if you plug in one that is not designed for it the TV will give you an error. I have ignored the errors and haven't seen any issues tho. The wireless internet is fast and streams even 4K content without buffering. Sound is excellent and vocals are heard very clearly.

We made the right choice when we picked Lg over Samsung.A better picture than the Samsung and a better price. Loved the Geek Squad' s installation. Learning some thing new everyday about it.

This television is wonderful! I even bought the floor model and had to find a remote online. I was able to download the manual from LG's website. The picture is superb and the 65" size is perfect for my family room. I even have angled next to an extremely large picture window that faces East. I get minimal to no glare. I wasn't sure if I would notice the 4K - all I can say is that you feel like the people on tv are in the room with you! The sound is also very impressive. We watched Independence Day on the 4th of July and the action scenes were so great because the sound is as good as surround sound! Very pleased with this purchase.

The picture quality is great and the passive 3D technology creates a 3D image much better than what I have seen on other 3D TVs using active 3D. Overall, a pretty spectacular buy.

Beautiful picture easy to set up it has a cool mouse style remote that does it all. In fact this TV does it all. I got it on sale right before Christmas and is worth every penny

The picture was one of the best we have seen in higher end TV's. It was worth the money for the size and the extras this TV brings ( 4K, energy use and ease of setting up)
