LG’s operating system is the same as all smart tvs - just get a separate streamer box, don’t use the native apps.

I would highly recommend this TV. Our last LG smart TV was 15 years old still worked great just wasn't as smart and the new smart TV. Great picture has split screen.

It disconnects itself from the WiFi and the controllers, freezes regularly and just doesn't respond to the remote. It was very difficult to get hooked up to PBS Passport because LG didn't have it available as an app and it wouldn't let me add it. Every time I use it, there is some type of issue. The picture is good but that is the only good thing about this TV. I don't like it at all.
