Life is NOT good with LG

Out of warranty and LG is not helping to repair the TV and in fact wanted $2200 for the part to repair it, more than 50% higher than the original purchase price.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very disappointed on this tv not due to its image quality or the like, but because the first TWO I bought were defective and I am going for my third try now in a month - hoping that saying third time's a charm really pays off now! The first one I bought had a bent corner. I have no idea how that could be possible since there was no marks or cracking anywhere - it was simple bent. When then to the store to ask for a replacement. The second one was not bent, however on the 14th day all of a sudden a vertical red line simply showed up crossing the screen while watching it. Tried turning it off and on again in hope it would disappear, but for my surprise the tv didn't even turn on - it simply stopped working and the red line still showed each time I tried. It is the first OLED tv I by based on all reviews I've read and watched and I was really excited for it. However, now my confidence on LG products has been shaken since it happened twice. Still didn't want to give up on this and I do hope I can get it right on the third time, otherwise I will be for sure very disappointed to the point I will simply return it and go for another brand. Please, make me proud LG.
