Double charged for the installation when the installer told me it did not go through the first time. Had to challenge it through Amex.

So this was my first OLED. Before the C1, I have had a Sony x700d, a Sony X900f, and a Samsung Q60r. All LED tv's, and none of them left me feeling satisfied. I still have my X900f and it is, by LED tv standards, pretty good. But all of these Tv's suffer from issues that really have a large impact on the picture quality. For me the 2 biggest things were, absolutely horrendous viewing angles. Like if I moved my head slightly, I could see a change in the black levels and color. Ridiculous. Then of course the other thing is blooming. Even the slightest bit of blooming annoys me. That brings me to the LG C1. I'd like to preface by saying I watch the TV in Filmmaker Mode. This TV makes almost every single thing I watch look good. Even over the air antenna content. The perfect black levels just add so much contrast to the image. I look forward to dark scenes. My brain still wants to look for blooming in dark scenes but of course, there is none. The viewing angles are perfect. I can sit or stand anywhere and the image looks unchanged. The color on this thing is just so satisfying. The colors look vivid and rich, but not in an artificial Samsung way. They look deep and bold. The brightness. I have to say, a concern I had going in was the amount of people I've seen saying OLED isn't bright enough. Honestly I don't know how bright people need their Tv's to be but the C1 is plenty bright. Even in the afternoon it is plenty bright. I suppose if you have it sitting in a room directly across from a window, blasting sunlight directly on the screen, you will have a problem, but otherwise SDR and HDR content all look very bright and contrast. Amazing really. Next thing, motion and upscaling. I am actually shocked at how well this TV handles upscaling and motion. As I said before, I have had 2 Sony's. Sony is well known to be the best in these areas. My 900f is no slouch in this area. However, I am impressed with the upscaling on this TV, combined with the amazing contrast, lower quality content looks very good. Better than my 900f. Now with motion, I'm not a fan of the soap opera effect so I don't use the high motion interpolation settings. But I also don't want the inherent stutter problems that OLED panels have. So I use the Cinematic Movement setting, and again, I am very impressed. It completely removes all stutter from content, and while there is a bit of motion interpolation, it is slight, and doesn't bother me. Gaming. Obviously gaming on this TV is phenomenal. The picture quality alone makes me want to replay all my games. The input lag is almost non existent. VRR works great on my PS5. But there is one problem I am having. For some reason my Xbox Series S will display no signal if I turn on deep color and try to switch the Xbox to 4k 120hz. I still haven't found a fix for this. I have a 2.1 cable and all my settings are correct, so that did annoy me quite a bit, but thankfully it works perfectly fine with the PS5. WebOS is pretty cool and works well most of the time. I've had a few hiccups here and there but overall it is smooth. Coming off my X900f it's a dream. The OS on that TV is unbelievably bad. Couple small gripes I have though, are 1. There are not very many apps, and 2. This TV does not let you cast from your phone on many different apps. Luckily I had a chromcast lying around and that solved the problem easily. The magic remote is very cool and feels good to use. It did take me a little getting used to with the pointer but didn't take long. The voice button on the remote also works really well while searching for content. Bottom line: This TV is amazing for everything. TV, movies, sports, gaming. I get it now. Once you go OLED, you never go back. I'll never buy another LED tv unless it's micro led if that's as good as they say.

This tv is beautiful upscale very well have watched avatar on Disney plus in hd and it looks 4k everything I watch is awesome the color pops I'm not one for reviews this is my second one ever 4 HDMI 2,1 gaming on this tv is amazing I can see why they say once you go oled you will never go back to led no blooming just pure awesomeness got it hooked up to a 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos denon receiver I just cannot say enough good things about it 1 thing I will say is this is not like a led tv you can't fall asleep with it on or watch it for hours on end treat it like a brand new beautiful car I watch about 4 hours a day if your undecided about this tv and another oled get this one you wont regret it

For being the midrange tv for LG the quality, options, sound, the dolby vision looks amazing, and gaming on this tv is just so beautiful. Nest tv i ever purchased cant sait to upgrade to the newest model this year.

Its been ten years since i have bought a new tv. I have an older samsung 55" led tv. Its an excellent tv picture still looks great for how old it is and gets very bright. 7500 series. It was samsungs mid class tv when i bought it i beleive it was around 1800 dollars at the time. I was leaning towards the samsung QN85A, Sony A90J or this tv the lg c1. The samsung was way brighter than the lg and it was a hard decision but the blacks on the lg oled are just unbeatable. Samsung makes some great displays and have been for a long time.They all are beautiful tv's and i dont think you can go wrong with either but i thought the oled picture just looked a little better and i liked that it has 4 2.1 hdmi ports. Im a little nervous about screen burn but i guess time will tell. With the samsung and sony i dont believe you have to worry about screen burn in. Anyways the picture on the c1 is amazing and if its been ten years or more since you have bought a tv i think its totally worth it. 4k dolby vision is unbelievable and technology has came a long ways. These tv's are all around the same price point. Expensive but you get what you pay for and they are a little future proof. I dont think the picture will get much better in the next 5 years. 8k is out and they are amazing but i didnt think it was worth the price jump maybe in a few years it would be.If you can afford oled buy one you wont be disappointed. Sure you can buy a 600 dollar 65" inch tv for cheap but they just dont perform like the more expensive ones. The sound on the tv is pretty good too. A sound bar would obviously be better but ill just run the tv speakers for now they are plenty loud and sound very clear. Overall a great tv if it lasts me ten years ill be happy. Watch movies and plan on getting a ps5 if i can ever find one. Not a heavy user but i like to watch tv and relax when i can.

Purchased this tv to replace a really old plasma that we had in the den. So far I’ve been very pleased with the tv. I came in knowing what to expect since I have an older LG OLED in the living room. This tv is used primarily as a gaming (PS5 & XSX) and content streaming and I have been very happy with its performances and picture quality. If you haven’t tried out an OLED tv it’s almost a must at this point.
