Bought it open box, works great after video tuning

I bought the LG 65" C1 TV online at bestbuy.com as an open box ("Satisfactory"). When I opened it at home, it just had the TV, power cord, and stand - no remote control, the seven M4-L20 screws for the base to TV attachment, or any documentation. ($25 bought the missing parts except the miked "Magic" remote I didn't want anyway.)
With that said, the open box risk paid off. The TV and stand didn't have a scratch on them, and were like brand new.
The OLED screen initially didn't look sharp (out of the box) and surprisingly needs tweaking. (Search "LG C1 calibration" on Youtube forr do-it-yourself, amateur-level instructions.) When it's tweaked (15-30 minutes?) it is excellent. It blows the older LED TV you're replacing out of the water.
Though a TV of this quality deserves external audio, the built-in speakers are adequate.

This TV is absolutely gorgeous. I have used my FireTV Cube, XBOX Series X, and my 3090 TI PC and they all run flawlessly on it. The PC can play with very low input lag unlike many other tvs. I mounted mine to the wall with a flush mount. It's pretty heavy considering it's so thin.

Oled is king

Disclaimer - I don't own the C1, I have a C9 & CX model at home. Writing this review to help promote OLED tech and to help sway your purchase.
I've had Oled at home for about the 18 months and I have to say that this has been the best purchase I've made for my home theater. There are new entries into the OLED market nowadays but when I need to get another TV I will go OLED, hands down the best TV I've ever owned.
One of the best (and most recent) way to really get the deep black and punchy colors is to put on Encanto. Colors are vibrant on the TV, from every end of the spectrum; and there are some darker scenes that show off the 'inky blacks' that you hear and read about when you look into oled tech. There are other movies out there that I could write about but this was the one I just pumped through the TV this weekend and inspired me to write a review.
All that said, if you buy this TV I really dowubt you will return it.

First and foremost, amazing right out of the box. A few tweaks here and there, and quite frankly, a perfect picture. Just got it today, after complaining to my wife, that this was absolutely essential to our family room and our very existence....lol. My wife is very picky when it comes to tv's and wants every scene to be crisp, so the LG C1, was definitely the way to go. I saw some previous reviews that said that it was a little too dark in HDR or Dolby Vision, but in the right room, its perfect. My wife is very pleased, and i got my way, at a great price none the less. Best Buy is great and resourceful, my version of Disney, I'm about to start receiving my mail at Best Buy. Thank you so much, money well spent. The Game of Thrones in 4k looks outrageous. It also helps that we have a Nvidia streaming as well, its an OLED on steroids. Sony, Vizio, Panasonic OLED's are great, but there's a reason why they all use LG OLED panels.

I have had the LG65C1 for a week now and this is easily the best picture I’ve ever seen. All 4K content looks better than my eyes see reality. Want to drool? Put on Planet Earth. Also, my xbox looks insane @ 120fps.
Excellent.

First OLED and I Love it!!

I got this TV a year ago and it's the 48-inch version. I bought it because of the price, but I wished I would've bought the 55-inch, because the price at that time wasn't that much of a difference (I think a couple hundred more). The TV is mounted in my bedroom. I can say that the blacks are very deep and the colors look great. I have a TCL R615 in the living room and the LG blows it away...Hands Down!!! If you're skeptical about getting an OLED, please don't. LG has done a good job with making sure burn-in doesn't occur and it hasn't happen on my TV set, so far. I play Xbox games and watch movies on it and the picture is fantastic. When my TCL breaks, I'll probably buy another LG OLED for the living room.

We’ve had this LG TV for a few years now. The quality is outstanding. It has a super thin 65” screen. Picture is almost perfect. We were going back and forth between this one and the Sony OLED, and this one was less expensive & has just as good of a picture.

Awesome tv! Amazing picture The blacks are black! I've only watched 1080 so far. I can't wait to actually view a 4K HDR source.

There’s No Equal to this OLED

The colors and clarity of this OLED are true. In 1980 or so I bit the bullet and bought a Sony Trinitron. Remember those? Beautiful wood cabinet and a great picture for its day. I have an inexpensive 58” UHD 4K LCD that I thought had a good picture. I can’t hardly watch it after getting used to the OLED. Take pride in your electronics, mount this thin beauty on the wall. Run your wires in your wall and connect this baby to a Sony 1100 watt 4 speaker and a 300 watt sub and enjoy. It’s a beauty but it will spoil you. Everything else will look washed out and muddy. LOL.

An absolute no brainer here, I was about to buy the CX 65" when this one came out. I do believe it does make significant improvements over the CX, but I did not own myself. The performance and picture are crystal clear, would highly recommend and believe to be one of the best TV's out there for the price.
The stand is a bit short for what I would've expected, so if you are planning on getting a soundbar it would block part of the TV. My solution was to get floating shelves to set the TV on and it works perfect to have the soundbar sit in front of the TV on a stand.

This is the most impressive TV that I've ever purchased. We purchased this primarily for gaming due to latency issues with our previous TV. That issue is non-existent. The deep blacks and vibrant whites create a level of contrast that i've never experienced. It was the first thing we both noticed. I highly recommend this model. There's a reason why it's been polled as the best gaming TV by numerous sources.

I purchased this TV from Best Buy and had the Geek Squad mount it for me and they did a Great Job! The TV is absolutely amazing, picture is unbelievable. You won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend the Geek Squad, I have mounted a TV or two and I damaged one because we touched the screen on the edge too hard. I know you’re thinking why did you touch the screen believe me we tried not to.
