Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and sharp details of the LG OLED C1 TV. They also appreciate its excellent gaming performance, with smooth and immersive gameplay. The OLED display is highly praised for its deep blacks and stunning visuals. While some find the remote control a bit difficult to operate and the TV to be on the expensive side, overall, customers are very satisfied with their purchase and consider it a great value for the price.

Massive problems w Xbox Series X Compatibility

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Had TV 2 months. Purchased for compatibility w Xbox Series X. At this point Ive tried everything to deal w persistent recurring video drops. Expensive HDMI cords, every setting. Issues with "invalid format," snow screen, inability to detect resolution, ALL video apps (HBO MAX, Amazon Prime, YouTube, Youtube TV) mess up and show kaleidoscope colors. Always requires reset of Xbox to regain video. Issue is known and customers have been screaming for fix for 6+ months, STILL NOTHING. Over trying to fix $2k TV every ten minutes :(

Worst purchase EVER. TV stopped working 2 years and one day. Geek Squad said buy a new TV. Called LG and they had me use their certified repair tech who fixed it for $850 and it lasted 2 minutes. When I tried to call the repair tech, the number was disconnected. WHAT A BIG RIP OFF>dont buy LG products. they suck

    Will not replace this lemon

Super disappointed in the $2K+ brick we have hanging on our wall! We’ve always had such good luck with Samsung—we should not have strayed. Our tv went out just months after purchasing it. Geek squad came out. Parts/panel was ordered. Parts came in, but tv still did not turn on. Apparently, LG will not replace this lemon of a tv—they will go the repair route no matter how costly and how much of an inconvenience it is. LG, make this right.

    A REAL LEMON

Stay away from LG. No in person support for faulty products. My $1800 TV (on sale) was faulty from the start. Finally had hardware replaced by LG but the problems persisted. Buy something better. No one at Best Buy or LG seems to care. Wrote to LG no response. Best Buy says contact LG. A nice closed loop to keep customers away.

TV completely dead after 2.5 years

Never buy LG. TV died after 2.5 years. The problem is the panel itself so I am basically better off buying a new TV than paying the cost to try to repair it. Out of the 1 year warranty, so customer service said I'm on my own and nothing is covered.

    Lg Oled don’t last.

Between Best Buy and Lg, these TV don’t last and I would never Buy a Lg tv again. The Oled screen will get bunt in image across the screen. Stay away from Best Buy false warranties that they start has soon has you buy the tv . So three year is actually 2 years. And stay far from Lg Oled tvs unless you have money to burn.

OLED Image Retention or Burn-In: Burn-in and image retention are possible on virtually any display. However, with an LG OLED TV, any risk of burn-in or image retention have been addressed through the use of technology that not only helps protect against damage to the screen, but features self-healing properties so that any short-term image retention that may occur is quickly rectified. It is rare for an average TV consumer to create an environment that could result in burn-in. Most cases of burn-in in televisions is a result of static images or on-screen elements displaying on the screen uninterrupted for many hours or days at a time – with brightness typically at peak levels. So, it is possible to create image retention in almost any display if one really tries hard enough. And even if image retention does occur from extreme usage, it can usually be mitigated within a short period of time by turning the display off for a while, and watching a few hours of varying content (such as your standard TV watching and channel-surfing).

Additionally, LG OLED TVs come with special features and settings to preserve image quality and prevent burn in and image retention. First, there is a Screen Saver feature that will turn on automatically if the TV detects that a static image is displayed on screen after approximately two minutes. There are also three options (available in Menu setting > Picture settings > OLED panel settings) that can be used to preserve image quality. The first of these is the Clear Panel Noise feature that preserves the quality of the image on the display panel by resetting the TV so that it clears the pixels. This feature can be turned on when needed within the settings mentioned above. The second feature that can be employed is the Screen Shift feature which, moves the screen slightly at regular intervals to preserve image quality. A third option is the Logo Luminance Adjustment, which can detect static logos on the screen and reduce brightness to help decrease permanent image retention.

So, in short: Reasonable, responsible usage of an OLED TV, combined with powerful image preservation abilities should result in a seamless home entertainment experience. ^Jennifer LG

    Stay away from LG products.....

Bought I directly from LG and started having problems with it within months. It started showing lines across the screen, yellow hue shows on the left and top edges of the screen, HDMI ports started failing. LG offered no help and refused to service the TV. I can't believe this is what you get for spending thousands.... Stay away from their products.....
