The Ultimate Visual Experience in premium TVs
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The LG OLED C3 is one of the most outstanding models of 2023, continuing the reputation for excellence that characterizes LG’s OLED TVs. This TV is ideal for those seeking exceptional image quality, compatibility with the latest technologies, and an elegant design. The image quality it offers is impressive, with vibrant colors, perfect blacks, and infinite contrast, thanks to its self-lit OLED technology. Its α9 Gen 6 AI processor enhances content upscaling and optimizes the image in real time using artificial intelligence. Additionally, it supports advanced HDR formats like Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10, and HLG, ensuring an immersive cinematic experience. When it comes to gaming performance, this TV features a 120 Hz refresh rate, compatibility with HDMI 2.1, VRR, and NVIDIA G-Sync, making it perfect for gamers. Its response time is almost instantaneous, around 0.1 ms, and the support for Dolby Atmos adds an extra level of immersion to games. The webOS operating system included in this model is intuitive and customizable. It offers a wide variety of apps like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, and more, and supports voice assistants like Google Assistant and Alexa, making it easier to control the TV and other smart devices in your home. The design is minimalist and ultra-thin, allowing it to integrate perfectly into any space. The central stand provides stability, but it is also compatible with VESA mounts for those who prefer wall installation. Regarding sound, it is clear and powerful, although the built-in 2.2-channel speakers may fall short for the most demanding users. However, its support for Dolby Atmos and the option to pair it with LG soundbars allow for a more immersive audio experience. In summary, the LG OLED C3 is one of the best options on the market for those looking for a high-level visual experience, whether for movies, series, or video games. Although its price is higher compared to conventional LED TVs, its performance, design, and premium features make it a worthwhile investment. It is ideal for movie enthusiasts, gamers, and anyone seeking the best in TV technology.

Top Of The Line TVS!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The C3 is an absolutely incredible TV even just coming from the LG CX 65" to the 65" C3 is a noticable difference. Only had it now for a few days but love watching my 4k bluray movies on it using my Sony bluray player that supports Dolby Vision and playing my Series X and PS5 on it. Got a great deal on it when my CX started having picture quality issues they approved my replacement and only paid 700 bucks for the difference and the 5 year warranty the C3 was on sale for 1499.99 my CX was bought on Open box years ago for 1300 plus tax so it really worked out well. Bestbuy when it comes to TV and home Audio you just cannot go wrong!

Lives up to the hype
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV lives up to the hype for last years model. I’m not a techy person and normally don’t overspend on fancy electronics. This was the perfec combo. Open Box, last years model. Paid $950 ish for the 65” The process was annoying and there is no way to contact individual stores but once I actually hunted down a store that had an open box it has been worth it. It had zero viewing hours. I also bought a Hisense U7 at the same time to see if I wanted to spend the extra money and the LG is considerably and notably better in every way even to a person that doesn’t care THAT much. Pics compare LG OLED and Hisense U7

Worth the Premium!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After my TCL backlighting went on the fritz, I looked at a lot of reviews on Rtings, AVForum, and Digital Trends looking for cost efficient replacement with a great picture. Of course, they mentioned the big three: LG C3, Samsung S90C and Sony A80. Each of these are OLED and highly recommended by the reviewers. The Sony and LG are WOLED panels which are less prone to burn in than the QD-OLED Samsung S90C. Price wise, LG wins the battle as the Sony 65 inch is a few hundred more. I tried a Hisense and was very disappointed. Though on sale at $799, the picture, motion, and processing9 quality were not sufficient. I should have tried the LG C3 first. Luckily, the model is being replaced so it was on sale Memorial Day for $1499. This is an awesome TV! The boot and response to the Magic remote are fast. The picture is very vivid in the standard pic mode (Filmaker Mode) and exceptional. DolbyVision when activated also demonstrates how perfect the picture can be. Sound is good with a nice amount of bass. Other details like 4 12 HDMI 2.1 ports with eARC, ambient mode, phone mirroring, bluetooth, matter integration, and private listening also round out the great features. If you need a new tv and want great quality without paying more for other premium brands, the LG C3 is recommended. You get what you pay for!

This is the OLED you want.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was in the market for a new smart tv. But this time around I was wanting something a bit more I needed an upgrade. I did some research and decided on an OLED panel. You have your usual players in this market Sony, Samsung & LG. I saw it in store and gave it a chance since it was on sale. At the regular price it was out of my budget. This tv has a very thin panel and really thin bezels and looks great in my living room. The panel is bright and the colors are crisp. You just have to adjust the settings to your desired liking. I enjoy the smart remote as I’ve already owned LG tvs in the past and the operating system is smooth and snappy. The only department this tv is lacking in as with all other tv brands is the sound. For a thin panel the only place for them to put speakers in was the back of the unit. So sound is coming from behind the tv but it does get loud. You are almost likely to get a soundbar which will help improve sound as I did. Overall I would recommend getting this tv when on sale. It has great colors, bright picture and is feature packed.

Awsome viewing experience
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased a Vizio M65-G1 three years ago and love the TV. Decided I wanted to upgrade and decided on the LgC3 OLED. Glad I did and was amazed by my choice. The picture is truly amazing. I set the video settings that rtings.com recommended and was blown away with the results. The images look life like, not 3D looking. It looks like your actualy there with them. Of course, if you watch a program in Dolby Vision or HDR10 the image is more amazing than a SDR one. The SDR images are still amazing as well too. I thought the image on my Vizio looked great until getting this one. This is the set to have if you want to have a great movie watching experience. All the colors are amazing and you can see the images with great detail. Do yourself a favor and invest in this set.

Honest Review of LG OLED TV – The Good and the Bad
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m going to provide the most honest review possible, highlighting both the positive aspects and the issues I’ve encountered. I’m rating this TV three stars, not because it's a bad product overall, but because there are significant downsides that potential buyers should be aware of. The Positives: Let’s start with the good. The OLED technology in this TV is absolutely stunning. The picture quality is breathtaking, and for gaming and general viewing, it delivers an exceptional experience. The colors, contrast, and clarity are remarkable, and it’s clear LG has put a lot of effort into making this a fantastic display. In terms of size, it’s big, but manageable. While I can move it on and off the table on my own (though it’s backbreaking work!), it’s really a job for two people to handle safely. LG also offers some intuitive settings that make it easier to optimize picture and sound for various uses, which I appreciate. The Downsides: Now, for the not-so-great aspects. One of the biggest issues is the privacy policy. To unlock many of the smart TV features and recommendations on the home screen, you’re required to accept invasive privacy settings. LG collects a significant amount of data on everything you do with the TV, including third-party connections like gaming consoles (Xbox), USB devices, or even your computer. The level of data sharing they require is more extensive than any device I’ve encountered, and it’s frustrating to have to accept these just to access basic functionality. The most troubling issue, however, came after I upgraded to the new operating system. After the update, I found myself unable to open or download any apps, including Netflix and HBO, which are the main reasons I purchased the TV in the first place. The apps are no longer available in the app store, and when I tried to sign in with my correct username and password, I received an error message mentioning something about "USA," which left me without access to the apps I use most. This effectively makes my TV useless for its primary purpose. I bought this TV for the integrated smart features, and now I can’t even use them. Worse still, I’m not willing to accept the full list of privacy-invasive settings required to enable certain features, such as voice control. As someone who works in cybersecurity, data privacy is a huge concern for me, especially with data breaches becoming so common. The fact that I can’t use my apps after the update is extremely frustrating, and I’m now forced to go through a full hard reset to hopefully revert to the original operating system. This is particularly inconvenient because it took me months to fine-tune the settings to my preferences, and now I’m facing the headache of reconfiguring everything from scratch. At this point, I’m considering selling the TV and switching to an Android-based TV from Sony or another brand. The combination of the privacy concerns and the operating system issues have made me regret this purchase, even though the display itself is incredible. Final Thoughts: If you value picture quality above all else and don’t mind the invasive privacy policies, this TV could be a great choice. However, if you’re concerned about data privacy or expect smooth performance from smart features, you may want to think twice. For me, the issues outweigh the benefits, and I wouldn’t recommend it to privacy-conscious users.

||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv is fantastic. The image is beautiful. And it’s beautiful from every angle in the middle of the day or at night. The sound quality is pristine even without a soundbar. It has all the bells that any streaming box has plus even does some computer things. It’s super thin. I love everything about it.

Another great LG TV for my home.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I never thought I would spend the money I spent on this tv, but I paid to get it delivered and mounted on the wall the day before the super bowl this year. I prefer LG brand TVs and this is my first OLED tv. The 4K image when you have a good source looks amazing. This tv is super thin, which is why I am glad I had 2 people from Best Buy install it. The brightness is great and I like the various AI features built into it. It's nice to have a tv that is recognized in most ratings as a great tv to buy. I am hoping to get a lot of use out of this over the years.

outstanding TV.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.went from an Lgup80 43" Tv to this mammoth of a Tv. So many complexities I can't fully explain. This is basically another realm of TV and this is more than bright enough for anyone who hasn't experienced Miniled brightness like myself. This TV was too bright for me, my old TV was 350 nits peak and i thought it was pretty bright, outside HDR content which was poor on my lgup80. It looks good during the day and at night. People say "oled is a dark room Tv" A dark room TV with almost a 1000nits of peak brightness. Most people have LCD TVs that are below 500 nits of brightness so listening to reviewers should be with context. It Took me two weeks to get used to this TV brightnes. I had to at a point dim the OLED in picture mode like standard to 50. THE VIEWING ANGLES are amazing, visual fidelity from any angle look supreme this can not be understated. Wow and HDR content is phenomenal. Big upgrade for me. I wish it supported HDR10+

Excellent, Dynamic
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced a 2012 Panasonic Viera 60 Plasma. Loved that TV. This has been a stunning replacement. Really considered the C3 77", very happy I decided 65". Easy initial set up. I have dabled with brightness settings a couple times as brightness is no issue with this set. Colors are amazing. I watch mostly in the evenings, however, last Saturday for College football, there was some glare from window, not a deal breaker....pulled the blinds. Again, if you haven't had one of these oleds or a new TV in many years, you WILL be stunned at the colors and incredible sharpness of the images.

Skeptical of price but so worth it! Best purchase!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical due to the price, but it’s the best purchase I have ever made for my family. I utilize the work from home feature everyday where I can access my Microsoft Office and play Spotify music simultaneously. Productivity has never been higher. College game day has never been better. My living room is very bright with many windows but there is absolutely no glare. The AI Dolby sound adjust to what is on screen. No more scrambling to find the remote to turn the volume down. And if you still need to, you can just say “hey Alexa, turn down the volume.” And your TV listens. I play my PS5, and I always worry about my eyes. There is a feature where you can turn on Eye Mode, and virtually remove all blue light. Now you can play video games without the regret. I recently purchased AI guided back lights to show colorful lights where the screen is which is why I have a little camera on the screen (you can purchase ones without the camera) and it has took my Super Bowl party and movie nights to a new level. Plus, the set up is insanely easy, the it’s beautifully thin, and I can’t wait to mount it on the wall even though it comes with a beautiful titanium standing mount. This is the best purchase I have ever made after extensive research and lived experience due to the work from home feature, the AI Dolby sound, Eye mode, and no glare. Highly recommend this TV to anyone waiting to make the switch.
