I selected this dryer because my dad is a Gas Man, which for the uninitiated is the term used to describe someone who enjoyed a career in the energy industry. I probably would have gone with the cheaper electric had I not spoken with my dad first, but the instant-on performance and energy savings (in my market at least) of the gas variety was a convincing argument. This unit is intuitive, attractive, and built of nice quality materials. The fit and finish appear comparable to much more expensive units, and I feel I got a great deal with the five year extended warranty. I also purchased the matching washer, which itself is a beast of an engineering feat; quiet, voluminous, attractive. Set-up of the dryer was easy, but keep in mind you'll need to bring your own Gas Man for install, as Geek Squad shies away from the safe-but-flammable and highly politicized Fuel of the Gods.

This dryer works great. It has more than enought room to wash just about anything. It's very quiet. Tons of different drying options. Can be confusing at the start but it becomes very easy to use. My daughters favorite feature is the song it plays when the cycle is over. We have the washer and dryer set and they work great. Best buy was very helpful on installation. I had to work so my pregnant wife was there and she literally had to do nothing. Great product, great help.

This machine is a lot nicer than our old unit. It is a lot quieter and also has a great drum size. The filter is easy to clean and located rite up front. We purchased the washer too so the units look great as a pair. Drying time is a lot shorter than my old unit due to the washers spine cycle. The controls are easy to understand and operate even though it has a lot of different options Overall I'm very pleased with this dryer

Big improvement over dryer it replaced. It's quiet and does its job well. Only complaint I would have, after 2 months of use, is that the moisture sensor is fooled at times by certain loads. Otherwise quite happy

This is a great dryer. It can do large loads and heavy duty loads in a timely manner! It works great!

This LG dryer has been working great so far. It has only been a few months since purchase. So technically I'm still learning about it. I came from old school washer and dryer, so the sensor ability is new to me. I have found clothes not dry when I thought they should have been but the dryer had turned off due to the sensor. You have to play with turning the temp up manually with some loads. But overall I'm happy with this dryer.

Dryer is quiet and dries fast. Controls are easy to figure out. We needed to convert to propane use. The LG website linked us to the correct conversion kit and their tech support gave us instructions to access the gas valve. It was an easy process. We also were impressed with the professionalism of the Best Buy delivery guys, prompt and friendly.

This dryer does a wonderful job. Easy to use and performs as expected.

It does not make any noise! love the features and capacity

I researched and read reviews on large tub, top-load washers. I concluded to get this dryer's complementing washer, the LG TurboWash 5.2 Cu. Ft. 12Cycle MegaCapacity HighEfficiency TopLoading Washer White WT5480CW. But this dryer is awesome. I do not regret my decision to buy it. I just had a negative experience with the 3rd party installation company who came and installed the product. They didn't take the time to level the product. They just opened the box and installed the product. Later, I came back to check the dryer and saw that they pushed the dryer back up to the wall so far that they smashed the vent. If you will have Best Buy install the dryer, make sure that they send someone who will be professional in installing the product.

Dryer is a perfect fit for our family. With 5 children and 3 adults in the home the need for a large capacity dryer is a need. Easily dries large loads and the clothes are nice and crisp when it is done.

I really love this new dryer! It is large so that I can dry big loads in a short period of time. The tone it plays is pleasant when the laundry is dry. I'm very happy with this purchase!

This is an excellent gas dryer and in the normal dryer positions (other than timed dry), it senses and calculates the dry time very well with one exception. The problem is that, when you dry a large comforter and it senses the outside as dry, It will shut down the dryer even though the inside of the comforter may still be wet. I suspect that , due to the thickness of the comforter, the sensor may not detect the inside as wet very well. My solution is to time dry the comforters for best results.

Our house was recently flooded and we lost everything. Decided to buy this LG dryer and I am so glad that we did! I liked my Whirlpool dryer of 16 years, but I never realized how "out of date" it was until I used the new LG dryer. Programming the dryer enables the drying time to be so much more efficient. Programming is easy. And, most of all, the dryer is quiet! Would recommend this machine.

I bought the dryer at the same time as the washer. It is so quiet I can't hear it working! Get the clothes dry in half the time

This dryer is using maybe 50% of the energy of my old Kenmore which was about 8 yrs old. It takes half the time to dry on a lower setting. Lots of features, easy to use and clever too - monitors the outbound air pressure and will warn if the airway is partially blocked.

My previous dryer took a long time to dry all of my clothes. After purchasing this dryer, I can honestly say that I have one less thing to worry about in my life. The Sensor Dry technology is fantastic. When your clothes are all dry, the machine shuts off. Talk about a highly efficient dryer. I purchased one of these for myself and when I realized that it was a winner, I purchased one for my Mother on Mother's Day!

This dryer is so quiet and dries much faster than my old one. Very happy with it.
