Dryer "sensing" doesn't work well

However, its "sensing" of being dry is off. Even when set to a dry level of "very" dry, the clothes generally are not dry, necessitating a re-start of the dryer again using "time dry" at the very highest temperature in order to get things dry.

May need to be adjusted. No light and I didn't realize how much I would miss having interior light. So many controls. I have not yet mastered how to get my clothes dry on first try. My dryer died and I needed a replacement quickly so did not "shop". Also wanted to match the washer I had recently purchased with which I am completely satisfied.
