Customers appreciate the 7.3 Cu. Ft. Smart Electric Dryer's convenient dual-opening door, excellent drying performance, quiet operation, and ease of use. Many also highlight its large capacity and generally positive performance. While some find the price a bit high and have experienced minor issues with the Wi-Fi and drum light, the overwhelmingly positive feedback points to a well-regarded appliance. The energy efficiency features are also frequently praised.

So far this dryer has been great! We don't use the WiFi capabilities at all though. Very quiet and efficient. We like the drum light and drying sensor settings. We did pick up the LG warranty after the one-year manufacturer's warranty runs out.

We had a steam dryer for 10 years and realized that it was just something else that caused problems. We bought this one because of all the reviews and on the recommendation of our appliance repair guy. I was impressed that the inside capacity was rather large, yet the unit itself was a little smaller than we had before. Well designed. I also appreciate the light inside and the ability to open the dryer door 2 different ways. I was surprised to find that the door opens 2 ways to assist with loading and unloading. Again, well designed. As far as function, it is easy to use and functions properly as it should. Although I hate how expensive washers and dryers are today, I am happy with this purchase.

I needed a LG dryer to match the LG washer we were buying but I didn't need or want the steam function. This dryer gives me all the cycles and options that I could ever need in a dryer and it performs them quite well. Originally I was looking at a lower cost model but the dual opening door and extra cycles more than made up for the difference in cost. If you have a small laundry room the tilt down door makes transferring clothes from the washer to the dryer so much easier. The sensor feature dries the clothes without cooking them. I generally use the Normal setting and everything whether its thick or thin comes out dried. Our old dryer had issues if you mixed different thicknesses but we have not had that issue with this LG model. So far we are very pleased with this LG dryer.

This dryer runs very quietly. I love the option of opening the door from the top to add additional clothes, it keeps my clothes from falling out on the floor. The clothes dry very quickly and are not wrinkled. I love LG appliances, I have converted everything to LG.

After, using this dryer for about a month, I can say it is quiet and dries the clothes. Just learning all the features, but there are various settings to allow for all different needs. The door opens fully or it can be pulled down for a quick throw in. By far, an improvement from our old one. Looking forward to using it.

Dryer does a great job at drying the clothes. Love the two-hinge door, making it easy to load in straight from the washer. The smart sense function does a great job of evaluating the size of the load and adjusts the time accordingly, which saves energy and The Wifi functionality, though cool, isn't really useful. You have to turn on the dryer, program it and then either set a timer, or go into your app to start the cycle. It would make more sense to be able to load your clothes and then turn your dryer on via the app and start the cycle. It was nice to have a dry load when I got home, but the dryer had to stay on the whole day. Dryer is extremely quiet, compared to my previous LG washer. I would recommend purchasing this unit.

Our old dryer broke, so we needed a new one. This one is much quieter. I like the door which can opened from the side or pulled down from the top. It also has more room inside than our old dryer. So far so good. Lots of controls and wifi I haven't even touched yet.

i was hesitant on purchasing a LG dryer since maytag and whirlpool were the leaders of this portion of the industry, but i have been very happy with my purchase of this dryer. The capacity it takes is great for our family of six and the dry time is fairly quick between loads. I am never waiting on something to dry when my washer is active so it keeps up really well with the washer speed. The bonus is the fact that it can open side & from top so depending on what is inside, I can choose how to unload or load. The only warning is to make sure the latch is fully closed before switching how you are opening due to the door possibly unhinging if opened and closed incorrectly.

I just had my heating coil die shortly after moving into my new house (the previous occupant never cleaned out the duct so I suspect the coil had been working too hard for too long to save it). I've had a wonderful Samsung dryer. I've had a terrible Samsung dryer. I read a lot of reviews and settled on LG as good value for being near the top of the ratings in every category while not being overly expensive. This one has a very cool feature in that you can open the door regularly, or push the latch at the top of the door and fold it down. I've found this latter option to be easier to load wet laundry as the door is there to catch anything you drop. I also really appreciate getting a notification to my phone when the cycle is done. I look forward to seeing how far my electric bill comes down now that my ducts are clean and I have an energy-efficient dryer to do the job.

Our old dryer recently stopped working forcing us to look for a new one. We opted for the LG to match the washer we recently got after the washer stopped working. High capacity, variable door opening configuration for loading and unloading, and does a very good job drying clothes. Excellent option.

The Best Dryer I've ever owned!

WOW! This dryer is amazing! I did my research on Consumer Reports, and apparently a lot of other people did as well. A few other stores in my area didn't have the dryer and the waiting period ran as far as 2 months out. I was thrilled to get this one at Best Buy. The staff was incredibly friendly throughout the whole process from start to finish. But, let's discuss the dryer. This LG Dryer has really fun features. First one is the multi swing door. When loading the dryer, the door is like a laundry shoot. Then when removing the clothes, the door swings open to the side. Next, the dryer is so quiet, I almost forget it's on. The clothes dry so fast. There is a wrinkle guard and that comes in handy for perm press clothes. I cannot give enough HIGH Praises. A great purchase!

I love this clothes dryer. It is quiet. It holds a lot of clothes and dries them quickly. I love how the door opens both ways. The lint trap is easy to clean. I have only had it 6 months so I don't know about reliability.

Absolutely LOVE this washer and dryer set. A rep was able to help me find this spacious and efficient washer and dryer set for a really good price. I bought the set with a cheaper LG fridge to get an additional discount since I needed appliances for my new house and was on a serious budget. This was my first washer I have used without a rotater in the center, and I prefer it much more. The effectiveness is just as good but now there is more space to wash clothes. Highly recommend this washer and dryer as a set for a cheaper option.

Recently purchased LG Washer/Dryer. Love them both. The dryer is quiet, easy to use and gentle on clothes. This is our second set of LG’s. Recently purchased a new home and really missed our LG’s that were sold with our previous home. We were able to get this washer and dryer on sale at Best Buy. We are so happy to have our LG’s back. They are great machines, very happy with both of them. Purchased the Geek Squad Service on both. We purchased at Best Buy not only for the great sale price but also for the great service. Purchase, delivery and install went perfectly. We have Geek Squad Service on other items in our home and are very pleased with their service.

Relatively quiet operation and I like the optional settings like the quick dry feature. Does a good job drying all types of clothing, bedding, etc. Enjoy the dual way of opening dryer door (top as laundry chute to load and side to easily unload.

Purchased this on a Consumer Reports recommendation. It’s a good dryer but if you overload on eco mode it doesn’t dry completely but you can turn that off on larger loads. Like that it’s a smart dryer and get a text when the load is done. Love how the door can open traditional way or hamper style. It’s got a great display and easy to use. I was told there is no pedestal for this dryer and had to get used to the lower height again but the dryer has been solid and I’m happy with my purchase.
