Great unit that does the drying job extremely well. It operates very quietly and offers more than enough programs for every household. With an access door that is double-hinged no bending is required! Highly recommended.

We really like our new washer and dryer. They do a great job, clothes seem to be softer and less wrinkled. And they are so much quieter than our old ones. And they are energy efficient. We are very pleased with them.

Like most, my need for a new dryer was due to the death of another. I searched Consumer Reports and compared their recommendations with the online inventory of Best Buy. THIS dryer was a perfect match for my needs. Since owning it, my towels are dryer, my sheets almost look like they've been ironed. My clothes are always perfectly dried. The LG ThinQ connect is a pleasant surprise as it notifies me when a load is finished. A week after purchasing this dryer, I bought an LG Washer from Best Buy. The combination now not only lets me know when both machines are finished, but the dryer PRESETS itself for the load coming out of the dryer. WAY COOL!

These are the first LG washer and drier machines we have purchased. We don't even hear them running, and they work great. I love the energy-saving features.

Dries excellently! It’s got a large capacity and even when it has a very large load it still dries it. I love the easy load function of the door and the light inside is amazing!

Great to find a dryer that holds the same volume as the its washing machine partner. Having the drying sensors is great - don't have to keep turning the dryer back on since it doesn't finish until the items are dry. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend this dryer. I love the 2 way door, wouldn't have another one without it. Clothes dry quickly without over heating them. I purchased this as an open-box and have been very pleased and saved money.

I had no idea what smart appliances were actually good for, when I Bought my LG (Life is Good) Washer and dryer. FIRST - buying appliances from a company with a UX mindset, means that you're getting a product that has been tested for satisfaction. Things that legacy manufacturers lost sight of along the way, have been fixed. You know that rage you feel, as you jump out of your skin, when dryer buzzes? It's meant to alert you that your load is finished, but it wakes every living things in your home. A company like LG realizes that you do laundry more frequently when your children are young, and consequently, this is the time of life that sleep is so important. I could go on for hours about how they've fixed the buzzer, and replaced it with a pleasant lullabye—but any company could have done this. SECONDLY - as a smart device, my new appliances allow anyone to succeed. If, for instance, I have a reputation for shrinking laundry (which I can neither confirm nor deny) then I could load the laundry myself, while a more competent launderer in my family sets the settings. All I have to do is load the machine, and add detergent, softener, and/or bleach. Extending this totally hypothetical scenario, anyone with the LG App installed also gets a notification when a load is finished. FINALLY - All LG Smart devices have the ability to run diagnostics, when you suspect a problem. I get notifications if a load is uneven, and for standard maintenance that extends the life of the machine. And, if I suspect something major is wrong, I just start the Smart Diagnostics function on the app, and place the microphone where it can receive information, and send me a list of possible issues, and/or fixes. Again, it takes a UX company to recognize that we are long past the days of the "maytag" repairman - in a YouTube culture, LG knows that the bast way to serve customers is to anticipate their needs and be there for us, on our terms.

Oh I was due for an upgrade of my older dryer and this fits the bill perfectly! That double door is a game changer....I love all the bells and whistles on this thing! It gets SUPER hot, even if you put it on low or ultra low, everything will get dry...fully dry. My last dryer would leave clothes damp as an energy saver feature, but I didn't care for it. THIS only takes 41 mins on normal (minus the energy saving button, I don't uncheck that, even though it automatically chooses it with that mode) and everything will be bone dry! I love the antibacterial feature on it as well! The door opens down to load and to the left or right ( you can switch depending on your preference) to unload. I love that cause it's less bending for me. This is a great buy!

Love my LG dryer. It runs very quietly and drys clothes great first time. After end of cycle it sings to let me know it's finished. I also like how it has glass doors and a light, so you can see clothes drying inside.

The original dryer we purchased was defective. Best Buy was so responsive and another was delivered within a week. It works wonderfully efficient and quiet!

Great for the price; efficient, extremely quiet and loads of fun. I love the music that plays at the end of the cycle to let me know it is done. Helps me to keep moving the laundry in a timely manner.

Excellent dryer, very easy to use. Gives you the option to set the handle in the most convenience side. Not only open sideways, also from the front. Great machine. Super sufficient.

The 2 option door open is awesome!! Helps you slide the clothes in preventing it from hitting the floor. Light makes it easy to find stuff in the dark. The smart dry function is great for delicate clothes and its quiet..big plus

Works absolutely great! Love the dual option to open the door either from the side or outward from the top. Also, love the deal that I got it for but still a very modern classy look.

This is a great product. It is also nice to have the glass door and the two methods of opening the door. Clothes always come out dry, as the dryer adjusts to the dampness and size of the load.

My wife loves this dryer. We purchased it after buying and returning a Maytag. It is quiet and does a wonderful job drying clothes. She loves the magic door and the time remaining display.
