The LG - 7.4 Cu. Ft. Stackable Smart Gas Dryer with Steam and Sensor Dry is a good dryer. It is compact, with a large capacity, a smart (wifi linked) appliance, a little noisier than the old Samsung dryer (when the burner is on) and takes a little longer to dry the load of clothes. It was recommended by Consumer Reports and noted for its reliability and features.

We had issues with our brand new Maytag dryer heating up too much and ruining clothing, so we returned it and ordered this LG one. The first one of these that we got, it was clicking and creaking with every rotation, so we had to ask for an exchange. The second one doesn't have the clicking issue, but the dryer vent attachment point in the back is a little loose, which is slightly concerning, but we decided to accept it, because we don't feel any exhaust leaking. The temperature control on this one is very accurate, and the "Low" setting is truly low enough to avoid ruining clothes, so we're pretty happy with it. I wish it were a little easier to select the timing setting. You have to push the button to cycle through each time option (10 min, 20 min, 30 min, etc.) instead of being able to go forward and back. So if you miss the one you want, you have to loop all the way back around, up through I think 120 min. It traps some lint and hair around the edge of the door, so it's important to have the white one so you can see it and clean that up before dragging your newly-cleaned clothes across it.

First of all, the machine looks very nice. While I’m more interested in function, I must say this machine has a sleek and attractive design. But, secondly, and more important, the machine works very well, has lots of features and options, is simple and straightforward to operate, and even has a drum light! We haven’t used it enough to give it a five star rating, but certainly a four for now.

I trust that the washer and dryer are very good as we always buy LG was washer and dryer but the delivery service is horrible. This is the second time that Best Buy sent a team that end up not installing the appliances and left. The first time was five years ago and they refused to bring the units upstairs and left them in the garage. This time they said there is no vent hole and the hot water tap was stuck so they refused to install the units. Terrible service, if their job is the install, they should be able to find solution. The moment they encounter a problem they give up.

I only put good bc I haven’t had it that long however it is sensitive to touch. I have a tight space so if I bump into it it does respond other than that I love it. It’s quiet and gets the job done for my big family.

Very good dryer. The only thing I noticed is that the door seems loose/not sealing well. Had a Best Buy guy come in to check, he thought that our Best Buy delivery guys may have bent it(as they dented the washer). He said it's not easy to replace the door as it is damaged in shipping and to just leave it. Not sure I like that answer, but otherwise works

It’s works well and the features need to be turned on for them to be activated for the remote features every load

Dryer works as advertised. Only thing I don’t like is the light doesn’t come on when you open the door you must push the power button first

We have been pleased with the performance in the 10 days we have had it. There are features we need to explore, like the steam. The AI cycle seems to work well and is probably the one we use most. The appearance is great, and we love the stackable arrangement in our laundry room.

I gave it 4 stars only because it was somewhat difficult for me to take advantage of the options. However this is a great dryer and my loads are done much faster than my old dryer.

Technological clothes dryer, the Wi-Fi connection with the LG App is very useful with lots of information available. good estimate of times and the quality obtained

It is super efficient, just take care with the heat, you are not able to change temperature in default cycles

Works well and has no problem drying anything we put in there. Wish there was a steam connection that came with it

My original dryer could not be installed because it came broken. Best Buy replaced the one I ordered with this one. I have been using this dryer for a week and it is very good. However there are a few cons to the machine. The preset factory settings do not dry the clothes completely. I had to keep putting them back in the dryer until I realized I can add to the dryness level button. Because this feature is a little hard to get used to I gave this dryer only four stars. Was hoping to be “wowed” but so far haven’t been.

Pluses: every feature you ever wanted. Good sensors, intuitive controls. Minuses: can leave clothes damp on first cycle, subsequent cycles go for a shorter duration and get clothes dryer, works pretty well but can take a while for delicates. Having to clean the door regularly is also a bit of a bummer- a door design without the window would probably make that less frequent at least.

Works great and looks great as well, very happy with it so far. The app can be a pain to get started.

So far so good. Replaced some VERY horrible Bravos XL appliances that were 12+ years old.

Looks great in the showroom. Beautiful design. We,lol are once it is delivered.
