Customers are saying

Customers are positive about the 70" Class NanoCell 75UQA Series LED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV's picture quality, price, and ease of use, with many praising the vibrant colors and intuitive remote control. However, customers are negative about the operating system's performance, citing slow response times and connectivity issues. The user interface and webOS platform also received criticism for being sluggish and difficult to navigate. While some aspects of the TV are highly praised, improvements to the smart TV features are desired.

The LG 70” class Nano Cell TV is praised for its good picture quality and sharpness, thanks to its advanced NanoCell technology. The TV has an IPS panel, wide viewing angles, and HDR 10 support. It also includes powerful speakers that deliver crisp audio and Dolby Audio sound. The smart TV features include the webOS 4.5 interface, which is very user-friendly and comes with access to popular streaming apps. The overall design is slim, so if space is an issue, it won’t take up a lot of real estate. The JBL NanoCell TV is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a mid-range TV that performs well.

    Somewhat disappointed

I had really high expectations given the customers and expert reviews. However, I have been somewhat disappointed when compared to a 2013 model 1080P Vizio. I have tried all calibration options and still have not been able to find that sweet spot for viewing content on the streaming device. When connected to a 4K MP4 player, the picture quality is amazing so not really sure what's going on there. The WebOS is also a nightmare for a 2023 product. It lags so much that it takes about 60 seconds to move from one app to the next. I completely avoid watching content on the WebOS as it totally kills the viewing pleasure. Also, I have one of the fastest internet package from my ISP and my router is pretty close to the TV. This is my first LG TV and I don't think I will be purchasing an LG in the future.

It serves our purpose very well. We do have an LG OLED TV in another room and that picture is decidedly superior. We selected the Nano for the savings it offers over the OLED.

My Initial Thoughts - So far just average

I purchased this TV a few weeks back and here are my initial thoughts: The UI is fast. Using the remote to move through the different apps is quick and does not have much of any delay. The settings (display, audio, etc.) is easy to understand and easy to navigate through. I primarily use this TV for my PS5. When I am watching sports I'd rate the video quality as average. When I am playing video games I would rate the video quality as above average. My main complaint about this TV is that when my living room is dim or dark, I can see faint vertical light lines behind the TV image. The backlight type for this TV is Direct Lit, so I assume that is what I am seeing. I've tried adjusting the brightness/display settings but it's a win lose situation. I can lower the brightness to get rid of the backlight lines but the quality of my 4k degrades when I do that. The quality goes back up as I increase the brightness but I then see faint lines behind the image. Overall it is a good average TV. I just wish I could find a setting that could help me rid of those faint lines I see at night.

Magic Remote is a MUST HAVE!

I fell in love with my 82" LG with the Magic Remote. Regretfully, I bought another LG that did not have this remote. I did a return on a nice LG TV which was larger, and got this TV with the Magic Remote. I gave the last TV 3 stars. I was a great TV with a beautiful picture, but the remote was a basic remote. Very happy with this TV. Have not figured all the items out on this TV yet, so gave the sound quality a not perfect rating. This works with my Alexa. TV on, OK. TV off, OK. Change channel - OK. So glad I got to swap out the purchase of the other TV.

Very good picture quality and fairly simple to learn certain aspects of the TV and the remote. Sound quality is ok, but excellent with a new LG sound bar. The overall appearance of the TV is very good and even with an irregular shaped living room, the viewing field is very good from many different positions and angles. Overall very pleased with the TV.

TV is good for its price at clearance. The processing of the internal os platform and apps are very very slow. So, it is better to use a external google chromecast or another streaming device
