I bought this because I needed a DVD player. It was a nice surprise to see that I could access my Netflix and prime too. Machine easy to set up and use. My wifi is just a few feet away but my netflix keeps buffering. Not sure why...but it is something to watch for after purchace.

As a blu-ray or DVD player, this works perfect. Beautiful picture, no lag, everything is good. As a streaming device this thing is ...ummm, not so great. Sound timing was off (lips would move before sound would catch up), picture quality was really bad, and it would freeze repeatedly. We constantly had to turn the device off and on to reset it (but only when trying to stream channels) Luckily we got it on sale, only bought it for the purpose of playing movies, and have other ways of streaming our channels. So if you want an amazing quality player...buy it, but if you want it to do anything else, look elsewhere.

This is a great Blu-ray player. But the smart features are a little on the light side. It doesn't play some video formats from USB. And Netflix can be hit or miss on buffering. But overall this is a good inexpensive Blu-ray player.

The Blu-ray player part of this player is great and the Wi-Fi is convenient but the interface is slow. If you don't mind slow response time with the interface this is a sufficient Blu-ray player.

Good purchase. The picture/playback is really good. Only issue would be you have to have a teenager to operate it. With three or four different remotes from satellite, soundbar, and such, it is hard to get the thing to come on. Unless you're 17 ... even harder to get back to TV.

This actually worked instantly! I had bought a more expensive players and the steaming worked but the DVD blueray wouldn’t play any of my disc this worked instantly! The streaming is wonderful too my only complaint would be I’m spoiled by fire stick I guess and I expect the lg to have more apps then what it does that would be my only complaint. You only get 6 apps . Prime which I already have Vudu which I have an account, pandora I already have an account, YouTube I do online and Netflix not a fan of!

Great picture and very easy to set up.Limited apps netlix hulu and a fewhole other. Main issue is that it freezes often whe streaming and you have to unplug to reset. Happens mostly after watching more than two movies in a row.

I bought this Blu Ray player to replace one I had purchased 10 years ago. Not only is the picture quality great, but the wireless features make it a perfect complement to any TVs you may have that aren't smart since its WiFi component connects you to many streaming services.

Solid Blu-Ray Player. Last player was a Samsung and it died after 3 years. Hoping to get more life out of this one. Simple to use, effective, wish it would stream all latest services but works well with Blu Ray and DVD's.

This DVD player replaced an old Samsung remote that stopped working. I first purchased a new Samsung DVD player. The remote control buttons were so crowded that I had to use my fingernail to avoid pressing more that one button at a time. The fast-forward to skip something was pretty slow. I Exchanged it for this LG player whose remote is MUCH easier to use. I was a little surprised that my DVD movies looked sharper and brighter than with my previous 5 year old DVD player.

Easy to set up and use, great for watching DVDs, Netflicks, YouTube, or Amazon Prime. I got 2 of them and put one in the spare bedroom and in the family room. Very handy for when the grandchildren come over.

This super small DVD blu ray player fits next to the tv and is almost unnoticeable. Great quality. Easy to use.

I purchased this player "open box." The first thing I noticed upon opening the box was that there was no remote. OOPS! I guess someone forgot to indicate that upon packaging it for resale. Fortunately I have it attached to an LG smart tv with a universal remote, so not a huge issue. It plays Blu-Ray and DVD as any normal player should. I'm not using the streaming since I have all of those apps on my tv. I agree with others that things are very slow to load through the streaming if you try it. The interface software is also exceedingly simple. Overall, a good enough player. It does its job.

Less than five minutes to take out of the box, connect to the tv and plug in. No issues so far and playback of 4K discs was surprising 4 times better quality than standard blu-ray players I previously had. Even played old Blu-ray Discs and amazed at all the new details of the movie I did not notice when I watched them on standard blu-ray format.

Bought this for our rv compact size hook up so easy . Works great , good on screen prompts . Excellent picture quality .

This was a replacement for my old one that had quit working. While looking at the different models I decided that this one had the features I was looking for and the price was reasonable compared to the others. It works good, is easy to use, and I would recommend it to anyone .

This DVD player is easy to hook up. Very easy to operate. Some may call it the plain version but I don't need all those extra buttons. I am having a tough time trying to get it synced with my TV remote, but other than that it's good. Great picture for the price

We bought this open box disc player for the outdoor entertainment system in our RV. It works as advertised for playing discs, slide shows on USB thumb drive, and streaming apps however there was a problem. The Geek Squad or whoever inspects this returned product didn't completely do their job. When setting up our streaming apps, we discovered the account for the previous owners was still set up for several apps. We had to delete those accounts to enter our own. If dishonest people had purchased this player, they could have watched those streaming services on someone else's account, which could incur charges. This is unacceptable. I suggest Best Buy delete active streaming accounts on returned products capable of streaming before reselling as open box. So no complaints for the disc player, just Best Buy's preparation of open box returns.
