The LG UltraGear 34” OLED curved monitor has changed my thoughts on curved monitors and now I found that they are great for me to use, especially when it comes to gaming. This monitor features very high-end specs and performance numbers that you would expect from a gaming monitor and has taken my gaming PC set up to the next level for sure. The HDR true black 400 really makes the colors pop and look fantastic. The 240Hz anti-glare / low reflection OLED screen is curved in a way that it helps you feel like you are more immersed in the game as you play. The resolution is not 4k, but to be honest, I don’t need 4k currently, and the 3440x1440 (WQHD) looks great with this size of this monitor. The pixel count is great, but I do think if you go up to a larger size, you may notice the pixels more, but this 34” is perfect for this WQHD resolution. I am using this with my Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 powered laptop, and I am very happy with the results. The anti-glare coating does not cause any issues and helps with the normal glare of the lamp that is positioned behind me in my room. The monitor stand is hefty and holds this monitor very nicely, it is an L shaped metal and plastic mount that allows you to adjust the height, angle, and swivel it, and the design allows you to pretty much back this up right against a wall which is nice if you have a shallower desk. The connections on the monitor include all the options that you would need. 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, two USB type A ports and an upstream USB port as well, and finally a 3.5mm DTS Headphone:X compatible audio jack rounds out the ports. On the back of the monitor are LED lights that you can customize with different colors if you wish, they are off by default, but you can adjust in the general Settings of the monitor. Speaking of the settings, you access them by the joystick type button on the back of the monitor right in the middle. It took me a little bit of time to find it and it does take a little getting used to in order to turn off the monitor and navigate using this, but it is not that bad. Overall, this is one fantastic monitor that I am happy to be using and it is a bit on the pricey side of things, however, add the fact that you get a 2 year warranty that includes screen burn in and you have a great option to take your gaming sessions to the next level as well.L

My 33” LG OLED monitor has honestly surprised me. The picture quality is crazy good colors look natural, and the deep blacks make everything pop without feeling overdone. The size is perfect too; it feels big enough to enjoy games and movies, but not so huge that it takes over my whole desk. Everyday stuff like browsing or doing homework just looks cleaner and sharper. It’s not cheap, but it really does feel like an upgrade every time I turn it on.

Absolute beauty of a monitor, you can really notice the difference in color with the oled going from a 1080 p monitor, the response time is great! And the curve is immersive, its quite big so be sure you have desk space for it. Got it on sale for 850 instead of 1300 and that might sound like alot but definitely a bang for your buck at 850 with the features it has like 240 hz curved 34 in oled. Wont find that anywhere under 1k

I recently upgraded to the LG UltraGear 34" OLED Curved WQHD Gaming Monitor, and I’m absolutely blown away by it. From the moment I unboxed it, the quality of this screen was evident coming from a 1440p IPS monitor. First off, I was a little hesitant with an OLED that has a matte finish on the screen. It was a pleasant surprise. I expected it to be a bit dull compared to a glossy display like my LG C3 tv, but it actually adds a layer of refinement and reduces glare in a way that enhances the overall viewing experience. It’s one of those features you don’t realize you’ll appreciate until you see it in action. The 240Hz refresh rate is a game-changer for me,coming form 144hz 1440p ISP monitor especially with FPS games. The smoothness and responsiveness are incredible. Every frame is rendered with such clarity that it almost feels so smooth. It’s made a noticeable difference in how I play, giving me a competitive edge and a much more immersive experience. But the real star of the show is the OLED panel. The picture quality is simply outstanding. The colors are vibrant, the contrast is deep, and the blacks are truly black. It’s hard to go back to any other type of screen after experiencing OLED. Everything looks so vivid and lifelike that it feels like I’m seeing games in a whole new light. The HDR400 support is a nice touch, too, adding even more depth to the visuals. Overall, the LG UltraGear 34in monitor has completely transformed my gaming and work setup. If you’re looking for a high-performance monitor that delivers exceptional picture quality and a smooth gaming experience, this is definitely worth considering.

It takes a little more effort to set up than any monitor I’ve ever had before but it’s worth it. If it looks weird at first be sure to go through the settings and see if you can change anything and run the calibration. I do miss the convenience of having the second monitor when playing games, as I don’t have space anymore, but it’s worth it and I wouldn’t go back. Playing ffxiv on this feels like cheating lol, I can see so much more at once.

I decided to buy a monitor with a high refresh rate and absolutely wanted it to be OLED. I looked through many options and narrowed it down to this LG and a similar MSI model. In the end, I don’t regret choosing the LG — for the same price, it offers a higher refresh rate: 240Hz vs 144Hz on the MSI. It also has the usual OLED features for image retention prevention during static content, just like other OLEDs. I believe the panels are more or less similar between brands. Bottom line — it’s absolutely worth it, 100%! Not cheap, but trust me, the gaming experience has improved significantly. As for adapting the ultrawide format for movies and games — no issues at all, everything adjusts the way it should.

was a little nervous in purchasing this as i am not normally one to invest a whole lotta money into a computer monitor, BUT, ive been wanting more screen space for easier multitasking, and the labor day sale made this monitor a bit more enticing to me. i went for the smallest model (34"), and WWOWW. i dont think i need anything bigger! i like that the screen is wide enough that you can plug in two separate systems and split the screen between the two of them if you wanted. this could be handy if you work from home and have a for-work pc on top of your personal to set up and run side by side. the built-in pixel cleaning system has also put me at ease over opting for an OLED monitor, as ive heard a common problem with OLEDs is pixel burn-in. heres hoping that it works over time. so far it looks incredible!

My husband bought it for gaming which it is id amazing for but i work from home and started using it for work. I get so much more work done because of this momitor. He of course is mad but work is more important then play lol

Let me tell you.... my phone does not do this justice. I play games with a pc with a 9800x3d CPU and 9070xt GPU and it is the best looking thing I Have seen. I have A $3,000 75" 4k Samsung tv and this monitor looks much better. I have played tekken 8, expo 33, first beserker and a few others on here. 10/10 recommend.

Picked this up while it was on sale for under $1k which makes the value more worth it. Upon initial setup, all the hardware is solid and had no problems getting the monitor mounted to the stand. There’s tons of flexibility for the screen including up and down which was a big plus to me. I also liked that’s there’s 2 USB’s for power output so I can leave my mouse and keyboard charged. The display is out of this world! Deep blacks and vibrant colors, 240hz is also really smooth and fitting for a screen this big. Multitasking is so much better on a monitor like this and gaming is so much more fun as well. I do agree it’s a little expensive at it’s regular cost so I would recommend waiting for a sale when it’s under $1k

I’m not that big of a fan of the ultra wide aspect ratios but this monitor knocks it out of the park. The oled screen and 240hz is unmatched for me

Excellent monitor, deep inky blacks, overall super happy customer. Purchased to upgrade from a 144 hz VA 34 inch monitor and I was shocked at the difference it makes in games. Motion clarity is perfect with instantaneous 0.03 millisecond response times no ghosting, blurring or anything. Was unsure if matte coating at first but with such a curved display it needs it and it’s so very nice to have. 800r curve is mind blowing to play games on. The theory is that 800r is similarly curved to the human eye and is ment to envelop your vision and it defiantly does. I am extremely happy with this purchase! If you are hesitant I’d choose this any day over qdoled due to increased brightness levels.

It's been amazing. I have an OLED C1 TV and now this. LG makes the best OLEDs. This is also my first ultrawide as well. A warning however for potential buyers. Please make sure you have a decent PC to make full use out of this. Don't be pairing this with anything lower than a 3080 levels of power to play modern games. Even the 3080 struggles to run SOME games at this resolution.

This monitor is true ly a work of art, the refresh rate, color, and aesthetics are astounding. I am speechless, very happy with the purchase.
