A great movie and worth every penny! Monty Python movies are always worth the money. Using a free $5 certificate to get a $6 movie is even better. Thanks Best Buy for the $5 certificate and for the excellent price on a classic movie.

I got this DVD in good condition and it plays Beautifully.. I would highly recommend this DVD to family and friends. Over 16 years old. I really love this movie and I would buy any future DVDs from Best Buy!

It's Monty Python, enough said. This along with the Holy Grail are the Monty Python troop at the top of their game. AV quality of the blu-ray is just ok, but this was never a high quality presentation to begin, so this is probably about the best we'll ever see. Recommended.

This movie is so offensive and is not for the sensitive person. It is absolutely hysterical how they can satirically capture the idiosyncrasies of humanity. If you don't mind some racy humor, this is the video for you!

Brian is a contemporary of Jesus Christ. Jesus gets all the fame and Brian just gets the short end of the stick. Great Python skits, ending is such an upbeat downer. I can't wait til my sons watch it.

A reflection of how people act, en masse, over interpreting anything and everything when looking for anyone to lead them from the needs of life. Funny? Yes., only because it is how groups act, even today.

I bought this movie for my wife to replace her DVD copy of The Life of Brian. She was excited to watch it again in HD, and it did not disappoint. The price point made it an even better purchase!

Monty Python movies are just fun! What more can you say? Their off-beat sense of humor may not appeal to everyone, but it certainly does to me. I highly recommend this film as one for your library!

My grown children and I still quote dialogue from this humorous take on the Gospels. Graham Chapman is "every-man" as Brian, the mistaken Messiah. "Always look on the bright side of life."

I only gave this 4 stars mainly because Monty Python also did the "Holy Grail" and nothing can measure up to that, but if I could give that 6 stars (and I would) I'd bump this one up to 5! They're really a victim of themselves on this one.

great movie if you are a Monty python fan. it was well written well acted well directed and the bonus features where great you get an in depth look at the making of this biblical comedy

Contrary to popular belief this is not a knock on the birth of Jesus so please don't be misled by the rumors. It's classic Python humor and it does push the boundaries a little but if you've seen the shows and other movies and enjoy them,you'll like this!

Good - but not great - assortment of bonus features make this Blu-Ray a necessity for Python fans who crave every sliver of available content. Question for content creators/rights holders? Why not issue an extended or altered cut of the film?

The Life of Brian is a classic movie, in the best of Monty Python. Production of this Blu-Ray edition is top notch and worth the purchase. I absolutely recommend it to every video library.

My title is what this film tackles. The life of Brian of Nazareth born in the Mangier next to Jesus. The Monty Python folks' most under appreciated movie by far, and it's great.

This came about a decade before "The Last Temptation of Christ" and faced the added hurdle of being a COMEDY. But damned if not being supposed to laugh makes you laugh even more!

glad I was able to find it at Best Buy. Saddened that the choice of Blurays have declined over the years but I guess thats progress. Still experience at Best Buy a positive one.

If you are a fan of the Monty Python series this movie and the Holy Grail are the 2 must watch movies from Monty Python. They are both very funny. Holy Grail is the best one.

Probably the best Monty Python movie made. They take life and turn it inside out to show how futile being unwavering in opinion humans can be. Watch it and watch it again and again.
