My brother tested it out and texted me underwater on his iPhone. A little scary if you ask me with an 800 dollar phone but it worked just fine after it. The design is sleek and light and fits the iPhone 6s Plus just right. The otter box defender case is to big and bulky and makes the iPhone weigh a ton compared to the lifeproof case. Please do your phone a favor and get the lifeproof case!!! ;)

I tested this case just like the sale man told me, and put a folded paper towel in side the life proof case and submerged it down into a sink full of water and set some heavy dishes on top of the case for 45 minutes and when I took out the paper towel it was completely dry. So I took it to the beach with my new iPhone in it and it got wet on the outside and didn't touch my iPhone at all.

Used this phone in the ocean and river and worked well. Didn't leak and took still took great pictures. Only thing is screen isn't as responsive when in water, suggest using the volume buttons to take the pictures.

There are many cases you can put on your iPhone or around it, but the people who say they don't need a phone case this is for you too. Phones are expensive but you'd rather get a cute unprotective case or no case at all so you can replace screens since service plans are out of your price range. If that's the case get the Lifeproof Frē case, It will save you much headache and is worth the investment. You owe it to yourself in getting an expensive phone. It takes drops from you or children well and is water resistant from toilet drops, sink, the pool up to 6 feet submerged for an hour. My Rose Gold iPhone 6S is pretty and covered by this Lifeproof Frē case but I value not breaking it over cuteness and the Touch ID & screen are very responsive as if I had no case on.

Proven for waterproof purpose!!!! Taking a shower with my phone just below the shower organizer while watching and singing my fave songs of Adele... Shampoo, conditioner, facial wash, body wash and ofcourse the water all splashed on my phone and even the moist of hot shower but my phone still okay bec. Of my Lifeproof phone case.

Easy to put on and you can literally feel the protection. Love the colors too!

I was surprised when I make video under water.its protect good in water

i had recently purchased the plastic case and separate glass cover. Glass broke twice so decided to try the full covers. This one came with the most protection in the smallest design. It's even water and coffee proof. Fits in my front pocket completely. Downside I can't sit with it in my pocket. Everything is sealed so using headphones or charging requires you to uncap something. I use wireless headphones so it doesn't bother me. The charging cap requires a little effort but nothing to bothersome. I've dropped it a couple times but nothing more than a few feet. Cover and screen are very durable I would give that 5 stars. My 4 star rating is for the price. $100 is to high for the protection. You can get cheaper but size comes into play and I'm not clipping a phone to my belt. Btw I have the 6s plus.

Fell apart. Water tight seal didn't last and water got into my case and now my warranty is voided. Second broken life proof case this since March. Never again.

This is the best waterproof case I have used with my iPhone 6s Plus. I have taken my phone to the beach, pool, and through various outdoor activities with this case and it has survived. Unfortunately, this case is terrible for everyday use as there is a fab between the screen and built-in protector. It's not bad for extreme use but typing in text is awful when using this case. On a positive note, I was able to plug in every pair of headphones I have even when not using the Lifeproof headphone adapter. All-in-all, this is the most protective case you could ever get. It isn't the easiest to use or offer the easiest access to your iPhone but it protects against water, drops, dust, and snow. That's more than any other case and more than enough for me to use it while traveling and on vacation.

I've had a Lifeproof case on every iPhone I've owned. It is waterproof. I've tested that portion of it. And it certainly protects from drops and being kicked and thrown. Pretty awesome case. The only down sides are 1) it's expensive. However if you consider the product you're trying to protect is close to a thousand dollars I guess it's easy to justify 90 to protect it. AND Lifeproof customer service and warranty is pretty awesome if you should have to deal with them. 2) it's gonna make your already bulky 6 plus even bigger. Not by much and not as much as some other cases but it will.

I really like this case and the fact that it's water proof. It has a nice slim design. I don't particularly care for the plastic screen cover. It's difficult to clean somethings off. Based on the price I would expect the quality to be a little better. Nonetheless, it's still a great case doing the job it should.

The case fits good, and is thin, but I think that being waterproof really dampens the sound of the speaker, so you have to turn the volume up to hear and sometimes you'll still have trouble hearing it. Another drawback is the price, it was 90 something dollars.

The Lifeproof case is one of the few (if not the only) case that presents itself AS water, dust and shock PROOF (although I have noticed their warranty no longer covers phones actually damaged by these hazards). I try to get Lifeproof cases for ALL my gear since I was first impressed by the Verizon rep who dropped my iPhone 5 into a glass of water while we were waiting for their system to establish it - so I KNOW the waterproof claim works. That said: YOU have to put it on and seal it CORRECTLY. If you don't, it will leak just like any other case. (Also see note at bottom if you travel and/or swap SIM cards a lot). In order to maintain the seal while using headphones, you must screw-in a dongle. You cannot use headphones without the dongle - but you CAN use headphones (or earbuds) while exposed to water. The case is slimmer than an Otterbox Defender (my althernate choice, although they are not waterproof - Lifeproof has been disappointingly slow getting new products to market and the first case for my iPhone 6s+ was an Otterbox) - and I found the Lifeproof case to be a tad bit harder to hold on to in my hands, compared to the neoprene-coated Defender - to the point where I've almost dropped the Lifeproof. Ecosystem: Lifeproof does not make a "traditional" belt holster for this case (although it is likely their holster for the original iPhone 6+ would work) - instead focusing on a system that allows you to attach the same phone to multiple attachment devices (such as a car holder, bike holder, arm holder) through the adhesive attachment of a "wart" connector on the back of the case. As I am already less-enthused by it being harder to hold the case, I felt attaching a "wart" to it would make holding more unpleasant (I use my iPhone as a replacement for an iPad mini, so it is held much more than others might - I also had no need for the other holders, but others may appreciate the ability to use a single "wart" to attach to a range of specialize holders). Note to frequent travelers: Familiarize yourself with how to open this case (the part about opening the charging port doors and removing the earplug jack cover before opening the case is VERY important) BEFORE you show-up at a foreign mobile phone shop to buy a local SIM card. And make SURE everything is aligned correctly and firmly-sealed when you're done :-)

I was very hesitant at first with the Lifeproof Fre with the claims of water, dust, snow, resistant. I bought it and I loved it. It protects your case 100% and you can get it wet, and the dust/water stays out. I love it. I went swimming with it on vacation and the phone stayed dry the whole time in the way pool. It makes a difference when a product guarantees it to do as advertised. I'm sold on their products and will recommend them to others. It also doesn't add that much bulk to it either. The sound is a little hinder/muffled when playing audio, but they included the headphone jack accessory for you to use with it. I love it.

I love this case! Great fit, great looks, and most importantly great protection. Not too heavy either. The only minor complaint I have is the back of the case gets a a few nicks. When I buy my next iPhone it will be wearing a Lifeproof case!

It's a great product overall.I have this product on my other phone and loved the protection and peace of mind it gave me. I have dropped my phone a couple of times and it protected it. I'm confident in using it in both rain and snow. Light weight and not that bulky. My only problem is it diminishes the volume of the speakers. I sometimes have a hard time carrying a conversation if the other party speaks in hushed tone. Otherwise a very great product.

This is my third Life Proof case, this time for an iPhone 6S+. The drop protection, immersion in water and screen protection are fantastic. My real issue is the lack of phone call clarity. Consistently I get complaints that people calling cannot hear me, I am muffled to the point of non recognition. This is the same issue I've had with previous versions for the iPhone 5s. I have taken to using the speaker phone option which seems to perform better however it is not an acceptable solution to me, I now recommend only with caution as I have purchased a competitive case that functions properly even though I have lost some aspect of protection (water immersion).

Love this case, lightweight. hides my rose gold phone but its the best protection by far. Dropped phone down staircase-not a scratch-and no issues. Easy to clean and above all keeps my iphone like it's right out of the box!!

Ok case protects phone very well from water and anything else will add bulk to over all size of phone. Same problems are present with this case as most reviewers have said you can't hear very well when you are talking and the calls can't hear you either unless you are using a Bluetooth or headset. The screen protector that it has on it makes the screen look very hazy and cheap. I had to return it after just a few days of using it. Color is nice that about it.
