I bought this cover to replace my Otterbox because the rubber outer covering of the Otterbox kept pulling by long hair out every time that I pulled the phone away from my ear after a call. Otherwise, I was happy with the Otterbox that I had for years. This product protects my phone just as well, but is sleaker in design and more water resistant. Only time will tell if it proves to be as durable.

The case sometimes makes it difficult for others to hear me on my iPhone, however, I can bring my phone into the hot tub every morning and drop it on the sidewalk without any damage to the device because of my LifeProof case.

It's a great case, will never own nothing else. Fingerprint scanner, speakers, and screen protector works flawlessly. Best of all, I don't have to worry if I drop it in a puddle.

After using this product on my iPhone for 4 years, dropping it out of a second floor window, sliding off of my dashboard into traffic, and the obligatory drop into a toilet - all with no damage at all to the phone it was protecting - it was a no-brained to select this great case for my spouse.

The shell is solid and protects the phone from drops. Audio Jack is quite annoying as it requires an accessory to work. Screen has a piece of plastic that was probably added on later under the front facing camera, which causes the screen to not be flat. This causes issues with touch to not be sensitive and just looks ugly. If possible avoid this case and maybe get the Nuud version... but then again I have tried contacting LifeProof and they never responded about the possible defect on my case so maybe avoid LifeProof just for the lack of support.

Light weight Compact Sleek Waterproof for sure Slightly harder to hear from the ear piece and the speakers are muffled but I won't be buying any more otter boxes that's for sure.

So far I'm really impressed by the LifeProof case. After having several of their competitor's cases (who shall remain nameless but think furry aquatic mammal that dines on clams) I made the switch to LifeProof after seeing one on my brothers phone, after he threw it in the hot tub to see my reaction. Needless to say his phone was fine and I was out $80.00 for a new case. This one seems to have less parts to break than my previous cases and is smaller overall, which I really like. I thought I'd be annoyed by having to unscrew the cover for the audio cable, but it hasn't been an issue. Most things are Bluetooth now anyways. The only thing I'd recommend is a little more non-skid on the back of the case, as I have to put it face down on my center console when driving so it doesn't slip around and fall in the crevice of death (the space between the seat and console). I have yet to submerse the case but I'm sure it'll happen soon enough.

This case is a life saver. I dropped it a couple of times and still in prestine condition. The best part is it's waterproof! This case is extremely light and doesn't get in the way. I highly recommend this case!

I've had cheap iPhone cases and even Otterbox cases, but I must say without a doubt the Lifeproof case is the best. The Otterbox case is very good and really protects your iPhone. But what makes the Lifeproof case superior is the sleekness. It protects the phone just as well as the Otterbox but the Otterbox case is harder to slip in and out of your pockets. I never was a fan of the awkward belt clips that the Otterbox cases come with. So if you want your iPhone protected without the bulk-Buy A Lifeproof Case!!!

Case fits nicely. Easy to use phone through case. Not to bulky. Only con keeping it from being 5 stars is these cases are very pricey.

I bought this case for my nephew, he is a disaster with phones in general and has jumped in the pool with his phone in his pocket more than once. This case leaves him worry free when he's in the water and is sleek enough for him to put in his pocket without feeling bulky. He loves the color and couldn't be happier with the gift. These cases are amazing!

Can't rate it great yet as it has not been tested...I have not dropped the phone or gotten it wet yet. However I had one on my IP 4 and that case proved itself well. Muffles sounds a bit. No issues with touch screen. Not too bulky or too heavy. A bit on the expensive side. Be aware of fakes on other sites.

Overall the case works fine except when trying to listen to music without headphones. The sound quality is not very good at all and seems muffled but it's a small price to pay for having your phone fully protected. The case does not add too much extra weight and is not bulky.

This is my first iphone so I wanted great protection cause I can be clumsy. I originally got a lifeproof case and hated it! It was too hard to use my phone cause the screen protector would bubble and it wasn't worth it for the money. I exchanged it for this otter box and I like it. I like that I can actually touch the screen with no interference. It offers the protection I need for a much better price. I was worried it would be too bulky, but it fits in my pocket and my hand perfect (I have small hands too). It fits the phone nice and snug too

Great case for outdoor adventures. Mud and water aren't an issue anymore, and I feel the phone is protected at all times. A little pricey but if you're looking for a solid, waterproof case, this is a very good option.

Lifeproof cases are awesome because they fit snugly to the phone, protecting it but not adding unnecessary bulk. Pros: Good fit Waterproof Protects THE WHOLE phone Cons: Sometimes hard to type through the screen protector The headphone jack adapter is annoying -- I wish there was a way to use regular headphones. If I forget the adapter, I can forget listening to music, or I have to take the whole case off. Not all car chargers fit in the charging port

The teal color is even cooler in person. The case works great. It does not get water in it and the finger sensor still works great. I love that it is not bulky nor heavy. The sound works well too.

I bought this case because I wanted to keep my new iPhone 5s in mint condition if possible. The protection and waterproof features are great, and it is not too bulky for the amount of protection it has. The only downfall would be the pillow effect under the screen protector. No matter what I do it will not lie flat and sometimes hinders the responsiveness of the screen. That and the headphone extension doesn't stay in great.

About a week after getting this case, my wife dropped her phone while getting into the car. She then ran over her phone when she came back home as evidenced by the skid mark on the Lifeproof case we found from the tire dragging the case a few inches on the concrete as she was braking. The phone was fine, as was the case which is still in service a year later. She also took the phone on vacation and used the submersible feature to take some underwater pictures. No issues at all. This is hands down the toughest and best phone case either of us have ever had. The only downside is the price, but then again you get what you pay for.
