I love this case, I’ve always used lifelroof cases for my phones, but for some reason I’m having a lot of problems with this case, at night while using the camera the flash reflects on the case lens and makes my pictures come out white and blurry and at the same time it makes my front camera take blurry pictures as well.

It’s very nice, well made and durable. Checked for water leakage and was good to go

This LifeProof case protect your phone from falls and drops. What I dislike about it is that the light colored case get dirty in less than a week and inside the plastic it always seems to look wet no matter how much you take it off and wipe it.

I bought this cover because I had one for my IPHONE 8 with no problem. When I changed to a iPhone XS Max, I inmediatly bought this cover. In three months of use the glass cover is separating from the cover. Does this cover for the size of this IPhone has to be manufactured or is a defect of this case. Sent a photo below.

Normally extremely happy with life prof especially this exact model. Unfortunately this time I dropped my phone from a low distance and the plastic on lifeproof over the camera cracked. I love this case , I’ve had 3 over the last 5 years but this specific product didn’t last barely a month.

Great case for water protection but the lens protector reflects light into the lenses.

I’ve been using iPhones since they came out. The Lifeproof Fre has two insurmountable problems: (1) It is insanely overpriced and (2) It complete sucks the joy out of using any iPhone. I just dropped close to $1500 on an iPhone XS Max. Inside the Fre, I may as well be using a Roker E1. There is significant space between the XS Max display surface and the Fre’s cheap plastic screen protector resulting in a plethora of visibility problems and, more importantly, the Fre utterly destroys the iPhone’s touchscreen responsiveness. When you tap the iPhone inside the Fre, you have to cross a significant amount of airspace to make contact and since the plastic is so... “plasticky” there is little hope of ever getting used to this major annoyance. The iPhone’s sound is greatly diminished encased in the Fre. Calls come in as old timey tinny / metallic. The speakerphone is slightly better. As to the price... clearly Lifeproof / Otterbox is making a killing on these cases. I’d be surprised if they cost more than $10 to manufacture. Mine was obviously new and came in heavily sealed, redundant packaging. Nevertheless, the o-ring was not seated in the channel, was more suitable for a child’s toy rather than high end electronics protection and the plastic screen protector was remarkably dirty both inside the case and on the outside surface. I would only ever use the Fre during a Category 1 Hurricane and even then only if it cost less than $30. Even so, I highly doubt the Fre would be waterproof “to 6 feet” as the company claims. In fact, the documentation for the Fre instruct you to immediately conduct a “water test”in a bowl of water to ensure the case is, in fact, waterproof. If Lifeproof can’t even consistently manufacture protective cases that live up to their clearly outlandish claims, why would you pay Fre’s premium price? What exactly is the consumer paying for? These are not new problems. Reviews online show these same issues have plagued Lifeproof since its iPhone 6 cases. In fact, one notable video review shows the Fre case, not the iPhone breaking upon being dropped. Do not waste all the money you just spent on your expensive, intuitive, responsive Baller iPhone in a Lifeproof case. If you’re going to do that, save yourself a ton of money + aggravation and just get prepaid, refurbished iPhone 5s and 6s. If they break, you’ll still come out ahead and at least you’ll get some enjoyment and productivity out of your iPhone.

This case protects the phone very well. The glass covering the screen protector frequently cracks. I’ve replaced it numerous times. It also gets smudged or otherwise messes up the camera quality. The screen protector frequently gets this greasy bubbly look underneath. It’s just such a good case otherwise. I drop my phone everyday and it’s fine.

I have had my case for about a month now, and I am quite pleased with it. It’s doing a great job keeping my phone safe, but I do wish the plastic frontward a little more rigid so I wouldn’t get very minor, but noticeable, halos around my screen from the case’s front screen moving and pulling away from the phone. Overall great case: not bulky at all.

I have not used the case in a pool or the beach yet. I did test it by putting my phone into it and putting it into a bowl of water for a few minutes. The phone was completely dry when I removed it from the case. The case is not heavy at all and that is great because the XS Max is already a big device. It is a well made case and very easy to use.

I wanted a case that offered good protection for my phone that covered it without having to put on on of those screen protectors that either bubble and peel or the glass ones that crack and chip. I went with the Lifeproof case as it had these features also wanting to take it under water on my Mexico trip to take pictures. The cover piece on the battery charging port is very hard to open and close and almost seems warped. A friend of mine said hers broke off after a short period of time. I didn’t care too much as I mostly charge wirelessly but needless to say I wasn’t about to take it under water and risk it!

Finally the screen protector is not grainy like previous model the clarity is just wayyy better noticed they changed the position of where you open the case it’s now two nothches at the top slimmer than the models before doesn’t add to much bulk but we need better colors I went with black this time cause I didn’t want any of the bright colors

Excellent case. Life proof cases are great….they’re slim, light-weight, strong, waterproof.

After almost 2yrs it’s finally broke. Rubber cover for the silent/loud button was broken and unsealed within 6months. Rubber coating around case started coming off around 6months of use. Never tried it In the water. To scared. I’ve owned lifeproof cases in the past and had good results. I’ve also owned otter box and had the same great results. I’d buy it again if it’s on sale or clearance.

Great fit and protection for the iPhone XS Max. Not as bulky as the otter box and seems to protect the phone great.

This case is awesome. Protects your phone from head to toe. Case is waterproof. I really like the Fre case. BUT do keep in mind you will lose sound quality because the phone is completely encased. It's not just the Fre case, every case I had that covered the phone completely, lost sound quality. The choice is yours Complete protection for your phone or sound quality.

This case it is hard cover and protect the phone and at the same time is thin. It came with screen saver. The screen saver it not glass but it does he's job. If it will have the screen with glass protector will be the best on the market. I recommend it because it protects the phone from dust, water , etc. and the only thin you need to do is past a wet cloth and finish.

I purchased the regular life proof case when the phone first came out paid 80 but was terrible no screen cover on the front or the back on camera but this life proof fre is the best has a screen protector on the front and back wish they would have made it available when the phone came out but I know it was probably planned that way as u can see I’m up to $180 on cases but I know this is the last 100% satisfied. Make sure it’s fre or you will regret it.

I really like this case. I’ve owned Lifeproof before and this one keeps up the tradition of total protection in a slim profile. My only con is the built in screen protector is subject to scuffs and scrapes. It’s a worthwhile trade off to complete protection. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this case and the protection it gives my phone. I recommend this case over Otterbox due to the slimmer profile.

Fits good. Slim. Not bulky so it’s fits in your pockets. Max protection.
