The setup was very easy out of the box. The app has a lot of Integrations with the likes of Google now, ifttt etc.

I use this with my Samsung smart things hub and it connected right away and changes colors as it is supposed to.

Connectivity is the only issue I have with these lights. The initial setup is trying.

Needs strong wifi signal to be used. Ended up getting better router to cover whole house for this to work in upstairs room.

So I purchased these lights after getting an Amazon Echo, I wanted to be able to activate my lights with voice commands. They really work! Now they aren't perfect they can be a bit glitchy at times, but for the most part they work as advertised. The lights are variable and with an Echo set up you can not only turn them on and off with your voice you can set the level i.e. 50% light etc.

I didn't know if I would like the Lifx Color 1000 bulb but I liked it so much, I ordered another one!

The choice of colors is incredible and so far I have had no issues. Outside of the great bulb performance, the App for Lifx is a real winner also. The app is simplistic and intuitive. I enjoy the schedule feature and the ability to pick different colors for my own scenes. I have colors set and saved for each holiday: reds/greens for Xmas, green for st Patrick's, yellow/purple for Easter, etc. Great product and app, I will invest in more.

As advertised. Plenty of colors to choose from and, unlike many of the bulbs out now, connectivity is very good.

Blub workes great and no hub required to work it. Changes colors in conjuction with the Lifx app

Super way to set up and use. Love the lights! Love that you can have it turn on based on times.

Tad on the expensive side but still less expensive than Phillips.

I wanted the light to be red at night so I can see my hamster and it not bother him. Then have the light turn to white during day. I could not get it programmed and their tech support took too long to get back with me. If you just want it on or off or change color it would be ok.

This bulb is a great addition to my smart lighting system. I originally had Phillips hue bulbs, and I love them as well. My only issue with hue bulbs is that they weren't as bright as I needed for common areas (living room, playroom) so the Lifx at were led 11w, I think, equivalent to a 75w bulb. The colors are a little more vivid than my hue bulbs but both are great choices.

Great especially while out of town or away from home. You are able to control the lights while across the county from an easy to use app. Connects/pairs with the nest systems nicely. My only complaint is these seem to loose connection to the network often.
