    Switch allowed me to plug a LAN cable from my router port into it thereby allowing me 7 additional ports for LAN access. Simple plug and play operation. Lights on switch easily show 1GB transfer rate or 10/100. Simple device that’s easy to use.

    I bought this for use with my Google WiFi Nest. The router on the Google WiFi Nest only has one Ethernet port (other than the one that connects to the modem). I bought this to connect to the router portion of Google WiFi so now I have seven devices hardwired via Ethernet to the internet. It’s doesn’t feel cheap and is very solid.

    Needed to add more ethernet cables to my home network to cut down on the WiFi lag for some stationary devices. This gave me plenty of ports and at a good price.
