As a result I wouldn’t know if it did present a issue with constant use.

Need Google Cast extension app to do that, and you can' t install it on iPad. Chromecast apps,i.e., Netflix, Hulu, You Tube, etc. work flawlessly on IPad. At $35 though you can't go wrong. I just use my Windows laptop to cast any website to my HDTV via Chromecast/Google Cast Extension.

This caused me not to pick up the internet speeds I should have been. This Item worked as it should and allowed me to pick up the 2G & 5G signal (dual band) that allows the faster speed coming into my computer.

However...when I plugged it into my laptop so I could receive a 5Ghz signal instead of 2.4Ghz I realized I can no longer use my second USB port. This drive is just a bit too big and covers a section of my port. That was the only downside of this product.
