I chose this adapter because I needed to change from N to AC as I thought that was the cause of my problems. However, I came to find out that it is my signal, not the adapter. Still need to change over to AC, though.

I needed this for a device that did not have an existing wireless connection. The area that the device needed deployed in did not have access for a wired connection. This got the device up and running in no time.

My WiFi adapter in my PC wasn’t the best so I tried this and it solved all my connection issues. The only thing I wish would be a little more discreet as it sticks a good way out from the USB port behind the PC

The driver on my laptop for the internet was no longer working. This simple tool of old technology works perfectly. I can use my laptop anyplace in my home. This device is an excellent substitute for an expensive repair to my laptop.

Works flawlessly. Only hiccup is not having drivers in the box. Have to download them online, which is why you need the adapter. Other than that, I love it.

Built WiFi on motherboard failed and I needed to grab something that could reach. This thing has outperformed all expectations.

For an inexpensive usb Wi-Fi adapter it works as advertised. I get 250Mbps down and up over Wi-Fi 5 with Fiber connection on the other end.

Bought a computer and the WiFi adapter it came with was too weak to give me a good connection. Switched it out for this one and it works perfectly! WiFi is way faster and properly connected now. Just what I needed!

The stick appears to be working well. I've only dropped connection once, but other than that, it's doing the job it's supposed to. The major draw back is that the stick is so big it sticks out pretty far and I find myself hitting it a lot. Also, with the size of the stick, I'm unable to use the USB port next to it, which limits me being able to use the port. If the stick was smaller or not as wide where the other USB port was accessible I would give a higher rating.

Plug and play, very easy to install and works perfectly!

Our router is in the basement and frequently during high use times we get a weak (unusable) signal in our second story office. This Linksys adapter has completely solved this problem.

Bought this since my sons pc, digital storm brand isn’t wifi compatible. Works great and no complaints on lagging.

My new home required that I have the internet router on the 4th floor and desktop on the 2nd floor. Internet speed was initially 2 MBPS. Using this adapter now getting 25 MBPS. which greatly improved performance.

Lost my wifi driver on my surface pro 3..no longer supported by Microsoft.. So one of the Geek Squad at Vernon Hills got me set up with this.. Really great !

I bought a Lenovo PC stick, which works great, but the Wifi is extremely limited (specs say wireless B). I knew the PC stick was not a powerhouse but wanted to turn my not so smart TV into a streaming PC. Max wireless speeds before this Linksys wireless Dual band AC adapter were 2-3 mbps down and 0.5-1 mbps up and ridiculous amount of buffering watching streaming video. Adding this wireless adapter and using it instead of the built in wifi gave me download speeds of 20-25 mbps down and 4-5 mbps up.......wow, buffering gone! Very impressed and satisfied with this Linksys Wireless AC USB 3.0 Adapter ----- highly recommended!!!!!!

Worked well and got the job done. A little unfortunate that you have to have internet on computer you want to use to be able to install the program.
