You can try changing the wireless channel of the adapter's Internet source and you should be using one of the compatible computers. Ensure as well that the driver is updated and correctly installed. No windows 10 drivers are provided on the linksys support site. When installed, the device will utilize the native Windows 10 drivers and they were nothing but trouble and really bad connection speeds. So disappointed as the surface pro 4 wireless network adapter is junk also.

But my laptops are old and don’t have ac network adapters. I bought this on advice from Best Buy tech support as a work-around. It didn’t increase the download speed at all.

I installed an old unit and it works great, although it is a little slower. Best Buy staff were helpful, but now I need to contact the company to try and secure a replacement.
