I was looking to improve range and speed. I got the speed from the 5G but the range was shorter than the old router Also problems connecting to wifi and staying connected. The ac1750 did not live up to my expectations, so returned it.

The only thing I've noticed with it is during power spikes that only lasted about a second it seems to be locking up my PC other devices, had to reboot it.

Holds up well and it's a definite improvement over wireless-n and the others before it, most noticeably on my newer devices.
