It was good for the money but didn't last as long as I would have thought. Setup was easy.

The 5 Ghz band works with all my devices. The old router did not work with all devices and you needed to choose either the 2.4Ghzor the 5Ghz band. This router supports both bands at the same time. The other feature which I really like is the guest access feature. You can have guest use you network for internet use but are firewalled off from seeing your devices on your network.

Just okay Router

Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this router for about 2 years and it still works but we did have to buy a WiFi extender in order to get and keep connection in the bedroom. Since it doesn’t have antennas on the outside maybe that’s the reason the signal strength is not as strong. It was easy to set up though.

Physical obstructions and wireless interference are a few of the factors that may cause a limited range. Keeping the router’s firmware up to date and utilizing the less congested channels will greatly help to improve its overall performance.
