This unit was suggested by the sales person at Best Buy. It was on the cheaper end of routers but he felt it would be fine with the modem I also bought there. It seems to all be working very well Geek Squad installed the units.

It works great, but be sure you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! It also sped up the wired connections to my Roku and desktop computer. The wireless connection even reaches my sister's house full strength 350 feet down the road.

But since I upgraded to this dual band router and changed over to the 5Ghz setting, interference has gone away and the music playback is great.

But as cheap as I got it and for a broke college student it works well for the year my roommate and I need it. We have lots of devices on it and usually it’s okay with reaching most parts of the house, though we have issues with the farthest part but it is an old house so it could be because of that. Overall 3/5

The EA6700 is expected to provide a reliable connection as long as the internet source is stable.
