    Opened the package. Unwrapped the network adapter. Inserted it into the USB port. Software downloaded automatically without using the disk. I did download the software from the disk first. Though the adapter found it own drivers. Item works perfectly fast & flawlessly. Unlike my previous Linkays ac1200 adapter "wusb6300" which didn't work with Windows 10 on any of my PC's no matter what I tried.

    Pros -Easy to install -Software from linksys easily updates driver Cons -Drops connection even when wireless router in same room -Drops connections daily after a year of use. -Struggles with large data transfers Noticed random dropped connections after a few months. These seem to happen randomly at first but then realized it happened when transferring large amounts of data (>5GB). After about a year, drops happened weekly. Now at 15 months of use, they happen daily. Avoid this adapter. Replaced with a TP-Link adapter and it doesn't drop on large transfers and has kept the connection full time since installed. Night and day over this adapter.
