I know people have said they had problems with the app but I had created an account with Linksys before I purchased the MR5500. Just follow the directions and you're good to go. I highly recommend this router.

After using MR5500 for about a week+, I felt like my health went down the toilet suddenly. I got up tired and had to stay still for a while before I can get my balance back. Every time I sit down or stand up, I feel like I'm going to fall down. I had to troubleshoot my health problem before finding out it was caused by this router. After shutting it down and put my old router back, I started feeling better and back to my normal self again. I believe the radiation emitted by this router is a lot stronger that it affects some people. I'm not sure if it would have the same effects if it is placed in a big room since I don't have one. In terms of functionality, it works well and did not have any problems since I got it up until when I shut it down. By the way, I placed the router about 3 feet away from me because my room is small.

The kitchen microwave interferes with the PS5 on 2.4g but setting the PS5 to 5g works great.

Technology improvements are not always necessarily user-friendly. LinkSys should make these more plug-n-play compatible.

I tried buying one of those mesh routers and tjey dont work.. happy with this one.
