this router is replacing an old linksys.. bought it because it is wifi 6 router and more secure. I tried buying one of those mesh routers and tjey dont work.. happy with this one.

Works as expected. I was hoping it could give me a bit more range upstairs but a solid router.

As wifi router it does the job it is supposed to. I would never buy this model again, BECAUSE OF THE NEED TO SET UP THE ROUTER USING A SMART PHONE. IT CANNOT BE SETUP FROM A PC! I PERSONALLY HATE SMART PHONES, HENCE MY BIAS AGAINST THIS MODEL. I OWN AND HAVE BOUGHT MANY LINKSYS S UNITS IN THE PAST AND FOUND THEM GOOD UNITS; WHICH IS WHY I BOUGHT THIS ONE. THE PACKAGING DOES NOT INDICATE YOU NEED A SMART PHONE IN ORDER TO SET THE UNIT UP!

I am so f----n sick of every g-d-mn thing with a blinking light requiring a g-d-mn app, and every one of these apps is a halfa--ed piece of c--p, and Linksys decided to take it one step further and require a g-d-mn account to set up the d-mn thing. They don't allow any way around it and some gibbering witless suit at Linksys thought this was a good idea. I desperately need this thing to give me an excuse to return it. I've lost count of the number of access points and routers and other network blinkenlights I've set up in two decades and this is the first one that got me so p----d off I wanted it to use it for target practice before I was even done setting it up. I chose Linksys because of fond memories of their WRT54G line and past devices and now the very sight of their logo is going to reignite a seething contempt for anything they make. So far the range on this thing is just barely better than the older device of a different popular brand that it replaced.

very difficult to set up. had to call support and was on phone with individual that was difficult to understand for over 1.5 hours. it has worked perfectly since. Recomment comment is because setup was very complex even for tech.

This item is ok It works just the same as my other Router but decided to just update to a newer One

It does what it says but nothing special, its just like any other.

Tech support couldn't understand that the router wasn't working because it was indicating it wasn't receiving an internet connection from the modem. Plugging a computer directly into the modem worked but the router still indicated no internet from the modem despite numerous reboots of both modem and router as well as replacing the modem, same results. Best Buy's tech support was totally useless. Had to replace the 6 month old router since I needed to have my network up and working, couldn't wait for the old one to go back to Linksys for replacement.
