It has great range.Easy to set-up. I would recommend it.

Previously I was using highly rated modem/router combo and had constant signal issue and had to frequently reboot the device. After purchasing the AC2200 those problems have gone away. I have a decent signal in all but the most remote areas of my house. Nearly two years into my experience, I can still say its the best router I have owned and that has been at least 5 over the past 20 years. I do feel the administrative interface could use improvement. Being an IT professional, I feel its been "dummed" down a bit too much for my taste. I miss the interface of older Linksys routers. That would be my only complaint, but I still give this router 5 stars for reliability.

I did have to get on a device and go through the routing number to set it up. It says plug and play, but I had to call support about setting it up and they will help you with the set up if you don't have a device to set it up with. Its not plug and play. It was easy to set it up, it works great! It has great range distance strength.

When I inquired at the local Best Buy about which router I needed. The salesman asked a few questions and based on my answers gave me the recommendation to buy this router. I have been very satisfied since. Great coverage through out the whole house 1800 sq ft.

But I have to say the performance may be due more to placement that product; then again, I have no way of comparing. I used the Linksys - Max-Stream AC2200 Tri-Band Wi-Fi Router to replace another unit, but I put it high up in a more central location. My Wi-Fi jumped from an average of 30mbps to over 100, so yeah I am pleased.

I enjoy it because it has extended my WiFi range plus I get much better speeds compared to my rented router.

This replaced an older Linksys router that worked well, but needed a hard reset every 3 days, regardless of firmware updates. I have been using the EA8300 model for 3 weeks and it hasn't let me down. With our endless wi-fi gadgets connected, each one streams perfectly in HD with 0 refresh timeouts, unlike my previous router.

Better coverage and quicker connections than our last router. We don't have to use a range extender with this one, we have a smallish house, seems to cover our entire lot and out front in the car as well.

Good stable signal over a long range and easy set up

1st off, i read a lot of reviews. Here's what I wanted to know. I have a 4,000+ sq ft home on 3 levels and the reception with the 5g band is awesome. Just blew my old router away. Sure, is there better, yes, but for $99 this is one of the best deals.

Love the tri band router. Love that I can prioritize which devices get the best wifi service. Use this with the Arris 32 channel modem and it is extremely fast with 100mbps Wow internet service. Great range in my 1,600 sq ft house. No issues thus far.

Purchased this router because I was afraid of the malware that was reported to have affected older routers (I had one that was affected). I did a bunch of research and found, that for the price, this was a good router with a nice ability to provide each device in the house the best ghz band, plus it goes up to nearly 1Gbps wireless. So far I have had the router provide a consistent 150Mbps to all my devices that can receive the 5Ghz signal, covering nearly my entire house. However, because Ghz signal does not go quite as far as 2.4Ghz, I bought another device to act as an access point which worked seamlessly with this router. This router was also easy to setup and has a nice GUI.

Before I bought this router , I have problem streaming movies in some areas of our house. After I replaced my old router with this linksys AC2200, I didn't have any more problem. It's easy to set up and it has a good coverage. My house has 3000 square feet area and I have no more issue on either area of the house..

My older wireless N router was having problems covering the far reaches of my 1,500 square foot home as well as would occasionally drop the signal all together. Finally decided to replace it with this one and am very glad I did. The router covers the entire house easily and has had zero issues with connectivity.

Upgraded my internet service and router. Set up was easy and pretty good range and excellent speeds.

This router was so very easy to set up.I am an old nontechie person and I had no trouble at all. Working great so far, fast speed, good coverage.

Good for it’s main purpose of streaming videos but really wanted parental controls. There seemed to be some differences in what was advertised compared to what controls it actually had. I really want to be able to put an age rating on each device connected to the router but that is not an option. You have to manually enter each web address to block it.

Easy set up, like the optional app control. Great range for two story house, even out in the yard.

This is a great router for people who don't want to fiddle with router settings. It pretty much just works out of the box with default settings. It increased performance throughout my whole house, and even gave me good coverage in the backyard though the router is on the second floor in the middle of the house. My house is old, brick, and with very thick walls and floors. Covers up and down too. Check out a good single router like this one before going to a mesh system, especially if you have a smaller house or apartment.

Bought this router because we needed something that could handle streaming movies, using video cameras, and a ps4 at the same time as well as several other devices.. setup was fairly easy, had to call customer service for help, they were great! And our internet is amazing now thanks to linksys!
