Had to return the first unit as it was defective (took 4 calls with India and 3 hours to figure that out). Second one connected in a snap and worked great for the first couple weeks. Now it seems to fade in and out at random times. Disappointing as it really extends my coverage when on but useless when off.

Wanted a good priced, easy to install extender that would cover how entire house(big). This works great!!

Wanted to extend range of WIFI as well as boost signal strength, however appears to be a better fit for signal strength boost within the current range rather than extend range as much.

At the end of the day this is a great product. However, because of the nature of extending you WiFi it's not a trivial task to setup. However, the support folks were excellent and got my extender working in less than 10 minutes. I actually had it working but you literally can not tell it's functioning once installed - save the fact that you have full coverage and better stability across your wireless network. What I really liked was the wired Ethernet connection which solved the issue with one of my labtops subpar Wifi card.

it took me a while to get this thing to operate correctly. I am NOT an IT guy so it was difficult for me. Now it is functioning great and increasing my coverage quite a bit.

Unit has provide the strong extended signal needed to operate the impaired telephone through WiFi . Todate the unit is doing what I expected it to accomplish.

Wouldn't buy it again, but it's ok. Not as strong as I hoped for.

After two weeks this product would no longer work. Spent 5 hours on the phone with support continually repeating the same steps only to determine the product was defective. Herein lies the problem, in order to get a replacement product within a week, I was going to have to spend $34.99 on shipping costs - now if I wanted to wait 2-4 weeks, I wouldn't have had to pay anything. I returned the defective product to the store and purchased a competitor’s product which was installed quickly and easily and is still working with no problems.

The product does what it is supposed to do. It was simple to connect and seems to function reasonably adequately for what it's intended to do.

This device did not work with my router and my Mac and PC computers. The installation software was not compatible with my operating systems. It was extremely difficult to set up. The instructions were too simple and did not help troubleshoot issues. I returned the item.

Worth it, would buy it again. Use it to extend wireless range out to backyard apartment from my home. Did the trick and everyone is happy.

This product is hard to say if it really makes a big difference .... Price a little high

my router is in the bedroom and across the house in my livingroom I have a dead spot. With this new router I reveive a stronger signal.

The setup was simple. To setup, just have this plug in a power outlet near the router and proceed with the setup. No need to connect any of the ethernet ports.

Really very easy to setup and activate. Filled in the 'empty' spaces in our home, in this case on the second floor.

This is a great product for internet speed and home networking. I only wish the range was a little better.

The automatic install did not work for our setup of a Linksys home wireless router and Comcast modem. Eventually we, myself and my Network guru installed the unit using the manual features buried in the extender. Not necessary easy to find. The owners manual should be written in a more user friendly manner when things don't go exactly right. But all worked well in the end, so we are happy to have good signal where there was only a trace of coverage.

Needed to extend my Linksys wireless router. This provides the extension and uses the same wireless names so connection is seemless. Only issue was could not auto configure using the instructions. Call Linksys support and was walked through the manual configuration. Since both my router and the extender are duel band, it should have been easy to auto set-up,but manual set-up was easy and Linksys support was helpful unlike netgear.

My modem and router are on the first floor. On the second floor, I was getting about half the signal; on the third floor, it was practically nonexistent. I set up the range extender on the 2nd floor, and immediately had full strength signal on both 2nd and 3rd floors!
