The signal would drop every hour and be down for a few minutes. Really got aggravating considering I bought it about 5 weeks ago. Called Linksys support and they helped me through installing new firmware. Their support is meant for people with really no computer knowledge which made me mad since they are very slow with explaining things. They said if the problem returned they would ship out a new one. They tried to say it is my router, which I know for a fact is not the problem... I really hate when customer support doesn't believe you.

I have a Linksys AC router which was not able to reach the far end of my house so I bought this extender to add range, which it has. However, the connection is considerably slower than it should be, this is due in part to my internet connection but not entirely. I like the range extender as it helps cut down my data usage while I am in my house but not at this price for what I have gotten out of the device.

Never buy the newest Linksys product. The firmware usually isn't usually ready until it is being replaced by the next gen of router.

Had to purchase a second unit to have consistent internet access at the furthest point from the router. & this in an average size villa. Set up was easy.

It was easy to setup once I had a wireless laptop. The box does not indicate a wireless PC or laptop is needed.

I have a large 4 bedroom home . I purchased this product because of the weak signal on the other end of my home ... It does everything it is advertised to do ... Easy set up works fantastic ...

It really works well as my router is in the basement and was receiving week signals on e first floor and second floor of my house- now I get full signal strength everywhere even in the yard

We had several dead spots in our home, due to the construction materials used (old home with solid wood walls). We are now able to get connected and stay connected anywhere in the house.

We had trouble connecting to the wireless service when using a computer in a detached studio on our property. This did the trick.

Love the ease of installation...more written detail about resetting device if first attempt didn't work but easy to figure out...

I really do like it. It covers the downstairs just perfect. My only concern is if it loses communication with the main modem there is no internet. It has only happened twice but a little worried about that for the future.

I already have a Linksys Wireless N router and all I had to was plug the extender in and linked instantly. No bead to run setup software! I have full signal on all of my devices.

Product was easy to set up and immediately solved the weak signal issues for a larger home.

I tried other 2 wireless range extenders and they were all creating another wireless network in a different name from that point. But this extender extends the current wireless network rather that creating a new wireless network.

The wireless signal on the far sides of the house were very poor. We installed this range extender and it helped tremendously. Setup was very straightforward.

First purchased device broke and had to return. Since then the replacement has worked perfectly. Helps boost the wireless coverage for the first level of house as the 2nd floor is where the main device is located.

Set up easy enough. When you move it out to extend the range it can't be found if it's more than 10-15 feet away. I expected it to be out a lot further than that before it started to disconnect. But it does work.

Easy to setup and comes with accessories to hang or install to wall outlet. Even for the price, you definitely get the additional signal you may be lacking.

This is easy to set up and did extend the range of my home Wi-Fi, but I still some times lose the connection in certain rooms. However, this may be due to issues with other electronics in the home.
