Linksys AC1200 MAX This extender took 10 minutes to set up and link to my router. The Linksys works well. For example, a security camera at the furthest distance from the router, on the outside of the garage, had played recorded videos in a halting/jerking mode, sometimes with long pauses – and now those video replays are smooth and nonstop. Also, testing our network signal strength (via the Android app: WiFi Manager) showed the Linksys extender on the first floor of the house has a stronger signal than the signal from the router on the second floor of the house.

Great extender I am impressed with how easy it was to setup and how well it works. We are using it seasonally for extra coverage in our yard durning the summer months when we spent so much time outside. The speed is very good and the range is impressive

although it did take me a while to set up, it was worth it! i have this one in my room & another cheap one out on the patio. wifi connection has been extended pretty far and now instead of my router and cheap ext. showing 'fair' or 'weak connection' all three shows 'good connection'. I'm very impressed with this wifi extender!

I don't know if it's worth the money but it was easy to set up and it does the job I want it to do.

Needed to connect an older desktop computer to the modem that was too far away for an Ethernet cord. Took a phone call to Linksys to get it set up, which was easy, just not in the instructions. Now it works great!

Simple to set up, works great. I needed it as a range extender, and it was easy to login to it and make the settings for my system.

Antennas are loose as the threads aren't strong, so I propped up antennas with the excess xords on the machine.

It has improved my streaming on my TVs in my house.

Nice unit but didn’t work with Spectrum’s Obee cable router/wireless access point.

This worked great to allow better Wi-Fi reception throughout the entire house, eliminating some dead zones.

Doesn't really get through concrete walls like I need, but it's fine otherwise.

Very difficult to set up. It is set for "automatic reconnect"; however, any minor power blip and it disconnects and does not reconnect. When we try to manually reconnect, it requires that you enter the password. We have tried using the password we set on it - wrong password. Tried using the router's password - wrong password. Tried using the computer's password - wrong password. The only way we can get it to connect is by pressing the "WPS" button on the router, but the timing on this has to be perfect. No one in the house has confidence to connect their device to it; therefore, we will probably return it.

Terrible. I have given this box 5 or more hours of my life with a Mac a PC, iPhone and tablet. I've used a few feet away, I've plugged it directly into the router and it won't connect to any of my networks, wifi or otherwise. I am not a fan of Linksys equipment from several past experiences. I should have known better.
