This is a good story but too much time spent trying to portray the story in film with foreign language. Do not attempt this movie if you are tired or have not had lots of caffeine! Child actors very good, even with language difficulty. This movie could have been much better. I found myself willing myself to continue due to the powerful story. Story could have been done as a movie short and spared everyone wearing out their will to complete the movie.

What a great story. We really enjoyed it . Amazing that it is all based on fact. As always Dev Patel is wonderful as the lead.

Had trouble with getting the English subtitles to play, but you get the idea of what is happening in the movie.

I couldn't wait to see this film based on all of the accolades but when I finally saw it I was disappointed. It was very well done. It was a compelling story. The acting was fine but it just slogged along. I wanted to like it but couldn't stay interested. Maybe my expectations were too high but I lost interest completely very early in the film.

Such a great movie. It is heartwarming, uplifting, and very sad. And it is a true story.
